Cat Facts FC and Chicago Cougars were extremely evenly matched in this contest and ended all tied at 1-1. This is Chicago Cougars’s first tie this season and it was their best offensive performance yet. Borgat was the star player for Chicago Cougars this week. They scored the only goal for their team. Cat Facts FC used their 1 goal scored in this game to boost their total goals this season to 1. For Cat Facts FC, Sarrah Ludwig fired one goal to provide some scoring. Post-Indy (1-0) vs. Excelarators (0-1) – Saturday, February 09, 2019

Post-Indy was incredible on both sides of the pitch against Excelarators with a final score of 4-0. The team’s goalie Bryan Silverman got a shutout in this one. To guide the group’s offense, Adam Jenkinson, Martin Gallagher, and Chris Reed both contributed to the final score with 2, 1, and 1 goals respectively.  Cat Facts FC (0-0-1) are next on the docket for Post-Indy, as they look for another win early on this season. It’s only week one, and Excelarators have plenty of time to go back to the drawing board on the offensive end. As for Excelarators next on the docket is Turtle Shells (0-0-1) as they attempt to rebound.

 

Squad Goals (0-1-1) vs. Turtle Shells (0-0-1) – Saturday, February 09, 2019

Squad Goals and Turtle Shells were very evenly matched in this Game and concluded knotted up at 2-2. For Squad Goals, Julian Honowitz and Paul Sanderude kicked one goal each to provide some scoring. This is Turtle Shells’s first tie this season and it was their best offensive performance yet. In the tie, Christine Pittel and Ben put in one goal each for Turtle Shells. Exiting week 1, Squad Goals will look ahead to Chicago Cougars (0-0-1) who are next on the calendar. For Turtle Shells next up is Excelarators (0-1-0).

 

Jimmy Savile’s U10s (1-0) vs. Squad Goals (0-1-1) – Saturday, February 09, 2019

Jimmy Savile’s U10s were incredible on both sides of the pitch against Squad Goals with a final score of 4-0. The team’s goalkeeper Rupert Price is credited with the shutout. To help gain the team the W, Michael Farmer, Rupert Price, and Tara D’Agostino both contributed to the final score with 2, 1, and 1 goals respectively.  Squad Goals had two games this week. In contrast to their other game, the defense crumbled in critical moments, but unfortunately it was their first loss of the season.  For Squad Goals next up is a game with Chicago Cougars (0-0-1) as they attempt to come back from this one.
