SPRING 2018 TUES MONTROSE COED SOCCER – CSSC LEAGUE RECAP – WEEK 5

Tzatziki Fuego (2-2-1) vs. JLL Thunder (1-3-1) – Tuesday, May 15, 2018

Tzatziki Fuego and JLL Thunder had a draw and finished with a stalemate at 2-2. Tzatziki Fuego used their 2 goals scored in this game to boost their total goals this season to 13. For Tzatziki Fuego, Steven Lopen lasered in two goals to guide the club’s offense. This is JLL Thunder’s first tie this season and they’re currently sitting in fifth place in the standings. Krystian D was the star player for JLL Thunder this week. They scored all two goals for them. Exiting week 5, Tzatziki Fuego will look ahead to Surplus Lines FC (2-3-0) who are next on the schedule. For JLL Thunder next up is Barnacles (4-1-0).

 

Barnacles (4-1) vs. INDY Team #4 (0-5) – Tuesday, May 15, 2018

Barnacles were incredible on both sides of the pitch against INDY Team #4 with a final score of 5-0. Barnacles seems to have found their groove and has won two games in a row. Their goalkeeper Karim Malouf is credited with the clean sheet. To help earn the team the W, Fiona Kennedy lasered in two goals. JLL Thunder (1-4-0) are next up on the calendar for Barnacles, as they look to keep it going. INDY Team #4 were unable to get rolling in terms of scoring in this one, and suffered a shutout. Next Tuesday, INDY Team #4 try to get on the board with a win with a match-up against Peaches (5-0-0).

 

Peaches (5-0) vs. Surplus Lines FC (2-3) – Tuesday, May 15, 2018

In this match, Peaches beat Surplus Lines FC 7-1. Peaches remain undefeated this season and show no signs of slowing down. Bartholomew Brylak kicked two goals to lead the club’s offense. Next week, Peaches battle against INDY Team #4 (0-5-0) in an attempt to stay unblemished. Sam Provano scored the only goal for Surplus Lines FC to save their team from embarrassment. Next up for Surplus Lines FC is a match-up against Tzatziki Fuego (3-2-0), as they look to get back on track.
