The Ball Handlers (0-1) vs. Internazionale Chicago (0-2) – Wednesday, August 15, and 2018

Hipsos (2-1) vs. Headers and Shoulders (0-3) – Wednesday, August 15, and 2018

Hipsos shut out Headers and Shoulders with a final score of just 1-0. Headers and Shoulders were unable to get rolling on the offensive end in this game and couldn’t seem to find the back of the net.  On Wednesday, Headers and Shoulders take on TBOS FC (2-0-1) in an attempt to put a 1 in the win column. Hipsos seems to have found their groove and has won two games in a row. Their goalkeeper Nathan Massey is credited with the shutout. Alex Schmittlein scored one goal. Next up for Hipsos is a pairing against Realcolicos FC (1-0-1).

 

Grass Kickers (2-1) vs. HoldTheDoor (2-1) – Wednesday, August 15, and 2018

In this match, Grass Kickers beat HoldTheDoor 3-1. This is HoldTheDoor’s first loss of the season. The losing team still had notable players including Jonni Fuentes, who had two goals for HoldTheDoor. Grass Kickers really showed up in this game, surpassing their average of 2.0 goals per game.  Elle Wilson, Nicholas Pellegrino, and Adam Black each kicked one goal to provide some scoring.  Next up for HoldTheDoor is a showdown versus The Ball Handlers (0-1-0), as they look to get into the winner’s circle.  The Ball Handlers (0-1-0) are next up on the schedule for Grass Kickers, as they look to keep it going.

 

Hala Juve (3-0) vs. Uptake United (1-2-1) – Wednesday, August 15, and 2018

Hala Juve put on a show on both sides of the pitch against Uptake United with a final score of 3-0. Hala Juve continued their winning streak this week and are officially on fire. The club’s goalie Alejandro Ramirez deserves much of the credit after earning a clean sheet. To help earn the squad the W, Jose Mora scored two goals and Alejandro Ojeda scored one goal. Next Wednesday, Hala Juve will attempt to remain undefeated with a showdown against Ankle Rollers (0-3-0).  Uptake United had two games this week. Both matches were losses and increased their total goal differential to -3.  Next up for Uptake United is a showdown versus Internazionale Chicago (0-2-0), as they look to get into the winner’s circle.

 

Team Kolter (2-0-1) vs. Wasted Talent (0-3) – Wednesday, August 15, and 2018

Team Kolter and Wasted Talent had a defensive battle, with a combined score of three goals. Team Kolter took home the 2-1 victory. Even though they faced losing, Wasted Talent certainly gave it their all on D in this one, giving up less than their average of 2.3 goals against per game for the year. Nick Stuedemann scored the only goal for Wasted Talent to save their team from embarrassment.  Next game, Wasted Talent take on Blackout FC (1-2-0) in an attempt to get their first win. Team Kolter seems to have found their groove and has won two games in a row. Dylan Hobert kicked two goals to spearhead the team’s attack. Team Kolter will try to remain unbeaten next Wednesday with a pairing against Net Six and Chill (3-0-0).

 

Net Six and Chill (3-0) vs. Uptake United (1-2-1) – Wednesday, August 15, and 2018

Net Six and Chill controlled this game in shut out fashion against Uptake United with a final score of 3-0. This was one of two games for Uptake United this week. Both matches were losses giving them a 2-game losing streak.  Next up for Uptake United is a match-up against Internazionale Chicago (0-2-0), as they attempt to rebound. Currently undefeated, Net Six and Chill, sits in 1st place in the standings with 3 wins. Net Six and Chill’s goalie Jordan Pelferly kept their net clean. Will Trogdon, Lindsey Oettle, and Jenna Horton each led their team to victory by scoring one goal each. Next Wednesday, Net Six and Chill faces off against Team Kolter (2-0-1) in an attempt to remain perfect.

 

Blackout FC (1-2) vs. Ankle Rollers (0-3) – Wednesday, August 15, and 2018

Both off to a slow start this season, neither team had a tally in the win column. Finally breaking their losing streak, Blackout FC took home a win against Ankle Rollers with a final score of 4-0. Ankle Rollers were unable to get rolling in this one and suffered a shutout. Blackout FC really brought their A game, besting their average of 2.0 goals per game. Blackout FC’s goalkeeper, Julio Rios, earned a shutout in this one.  Qudus Lawal, Rosa Miranda, Jesus Valencia, and Jorge Gallegos each scored one goal to guide their team to victory.  Next Wednesday, Ankle Rollers faces off against Hala Juve (3-0-0) in an attempt to get off the schneid.  Wasted Talent (0-3-0) is next up on the schedule for Blackout FC, as they look to keep it going.

 

Foot Ballerz (2-1) vs. Peach Perfect (1-1-1) – Wednesday, August 15, and 2018

Foot Ballerz blanked Peach Perfect with a final score of just 1-0. This is Peach Perfect’s first loss of the season. This win is the second in a row for Foot Ballerz, and it bumps them to 8th place in the standings. The team’s goalie Patrick Lass got a clean sheet in this one. Kyle McKeith made the one and only goal this game.  Next up for Peach Perfect is a match-up against bswift (2-0-1), as they look to get back on track.  TalentBrewers (1-2-0) are next up on the docket for Foot Ballerz, as they look to keep it going.

 

bswift (2-0-1) vs. TalentBrewers (1-2) – Wednesday, August 15, and 2018

bswift played a perfect game ending in a shut out against TalentBrewers with a final score of 4-0. TalentBrewers struggled to get it going on offense in this game and failed to make a goal. bswift really stepped up in this one, beating their average of 2.7 goals per game.  The club’s goalie Aaron Shields stone-walled TalentBrewers, earning a shutout for their record. To help gain the squad the win, Aaron Shields scored two goals, and Matthew Reiss and Luke Skertich each scored one goal. Next up for TalentBrewers is a match-up against Foot Ballerz (2-1-0), as they attempt to bounce back.  Next week, bswift battle against Peach Perfect (1-1-1) in an attempt to remain undefeated.

 

TBOS FC (2-0-1) vs. INDY Team #3 (0-3) – Wednesday, August 15, and 2018

TBOS FC played amazing in this shut out against INDY Team #3 with a final score of 4-0. INDY Team #3 were unable to get rolling in this one and failed to make it onto the scoreboard. TBOS FC brought their A game in this game, beating their average of 2.3 goals per game.  Their goalkeeper Brenna Budd played very well in the clean sheet. To help gain the club the win, Brenna Budd scored two goals and both Mary Bittner and Sameer Dhavalikar score one goal.  Next week, INDY Team #3 will battle against Kick Grass (1-0-0) in an attempt to put a 1 in the win column. TBOS FC will attempt to stay undefeated with a match-up versus Headers and Shoulders (0-3-0).
