Beercelona (1-0) vs. Allen Keypers (0-1) – Monday, August 27, 2018

In this match, Beercelona beat Allen Keypers 9-2. Even though they lost, Allen Keypers have plenty of time to practice their offensive skills before play-offs. The losing team still had notable players including Jared Fankhauser and Alex Bangart, who kicked one goal each for the Allen Keypers. Connor Welby got a hat trick with five goals to steer the Beercelona’s offense. Also providing some scoring was Kevin Patrick, Beth Schmits, Nick Braund, and Clint Ulrich with one goal each. As for Allen Keypers next on the calendar is The Renewable Machine (0-1-0) as they strive to bounce back. For Beercelona, next up is a battle with Balls Deep (0-0-1), as they look for another win early on this season.

In this match, Angels in the Midfield beat Fist City FC 3-1. Ivan Munoz, Ameer Ejaz, and Monica Delvin each kicked one goal to help earn the squad the win.  There is an I in Unix (0-1-0) is next up on the schedule for Angels in the Midfield, as they look to keep up the momentum.  It’s only the first week, and Fist City FC has a significant amount of opportunities to improve on offense.  For Fist City FC next up is a showdown with Gaan Span (1-0-0) as they look to get to the win column.

INDY Team #3 dominated in this game against Mediaocean FC with a final score of 10-0. Mediaocean FC really struggled defensively in this one, allowing more goals than their first game.  For Mediaocean FC next on the schedule is ESPN The Ocho (1-1-0) as they look to get into the win column. INDY Team #3 is heating up, winning both of their games so far this season. Patrick O’Mahoney earned a hat trick with three goals to spearhead the club’s attack. Adam Janic, Sam Wolff, and Daniel O’Mahoney each scored two goals, and Jon Linn scored one goal for the team. For INDY Team #3, every contest is a crucial chance to get in a groove from the jump. ESPN The Ocho (1-1) vs. Avocado Disco Balls (1-1) – Monday, August 27, 2018

ESPN The Ocho and Avocado Disco Balls had a defensive battle, with a combined score of three goals. ESPN The Ocho took home the 2-1 victory. Avocado Disco Balls were unable to get rolling in this game, scoring less than their total from their first match. Chris Mueller scored the only goal for Avocado Disco Balls to prevent the shut out.  For Avocado Disco Balls next on the docket is INDY Team #3 (2-0-0) as they look to rebound. ESPN The Ocho really stepped up in this one, topping their opening game point total. Matt Allain and Emily Salitermann each kicked one goal to spearhead the team’s offense. Balls Deep (0-0-1) vs. Nice for What (0-0-1) – Monday, August 27, 2018

Balls Deep and Nice for What played to a draw and concluded all tied at 3-3.  Benjamin Wallace was the star player for Nice for What this week. He scored all three goals for them. For Balls Deep, Josh Mah scored two goals and earned the most tallies on the scoresheet.  For Nice for What, next they take on Thailand Tobacco Monopoly (0-1-0).  Exiting week 2, Balls Deep will look ahead to Beercelona (1-0-0) who are next on the calendar.

 

INDY Team #18 (1-0) vs. Thailand Tobacco Monopoly (0-1) – Monday, August 27, 2018

INDY Team #18 and Thailand Tobacco Monopoly competed in a game where the defenses dominated, totaling three goals. INDY Team #18 took home the 2-1 victory. William McFarland led his team to victory by scoring both goals for his team.  Exiting week 2, INDY Team #18 will look ahead to keep their early season momentum and will battle Winded City (1-0-0) next week.  It’s only the first game for Thailand Tobacco Monopoly, and they have a significant amount of opportunities to pick it up on the offensive side of the ball. Louis Carrozza scored the only goal for Thailand Tobacco Monopoly this week.  For Thailand Tobacco Monopoly, next on the calendar is Nice for What (0-0-1) as they attempt to come back from this one.

 

Team Skittles (1-1) vs. Conversant FC (0-1-1) – Monday, August 27, 2018

Team Skittles played well here and blanked Conversant FC with a final score of 2-0. Conversant FC really didn’t have their best stuff in this one, netting fewer than their total from their first match. Team Skittles really brought their A game, exceeding their first game point total. Team Skittles’ goalie Nikki Craig deserves much of the credit after earning a clean sheet. John Hanley and Matt Thompson each scored one goal to lead the club’s attack.  As for Conversant FC next up is a date against CDM Media Ballers (0-1-0) as they strive to get to the win column. Next week Team Skittles will line-up against LPSE (0-1-1), as they look for another win early on this season.

 

Game of Throw In’s (2-0) vs. LPSE (0-1-1) – Monday, August 27, 2018

Game of Throw In’s played incredible on both sides of the pitch against LPSE with a final score of 4-0. LPSE really were unable to get rolling in this game, netting less than their total from their opening match. Game of Throw In’s are heating up, winning both of their games so far this season. Their goalkeeper Brian Virgilio stone-walled LPSE, earning a shutout for their record. To help earn the club the victory, Megan Harry, Ben, and Sean all contributed to the final score with 2, 1, and 1 goals respectively.  For LPSE next on the docket is Team Skittles (1-1-0) as they look to rebound.   For Game of Throw In’s, every game is a big chance to get cruisin’ at the outset of the season. Gaan Span and Kick Acidosis had a close one up to the last minute with a final score of 3-2. Even with a loss, Kick Acidosis has plenty of time to practice their offensive skills before play-offs.  For Kick Acidosis they’ll move on to a showdown against FactSet (1-0-0) as they try to bounce back. Team Awesome beat There is an I in Unix 3-1 in this game. Even with a loss, There is an I in Unix have a lot of weeks to practice their offensive skills before play-offs. Ethan Shohet Zabin scored the only goal for There is an I in Unix.
