Spoons FC (2-0) vs. Jefferies (0-1-1) – Sunday, July 01, and 2018
Spoons FC controlled this game in shut out fashion against Jefferies with a final score of 2-0. Jefferies had two games this week. This was the tougher match of the two, but unfortunately it was their first loss of the season. Spoons FC are heating up with two wins in a row. The club’s goalie Danny Deroo got a shutout in this one. To lead the crew’s offense, Jacob Fishstrom kicked two goals. Next Sunday, Jefferies take on Burton Birdwatchers (2-0-1) in an attempt to get on the board with a win. Next week, Spoons FC try to stay unbeaten with a match-up versus Net Six and Chill (2-0-1).

Waboba (0-1-1) vs. Jefferies (0-1-1) – Sunday, July 01, and 2018
Waboba and Jefferies finished in a draw and concluded all tied at 1-1. They’ve met even competition the past two weeks and Waboba have a 2-game draw streak. For Waboba, Michael Binz kicked one goal to provide some scoring. This was one of two games for Jefferies. Perhaps on a night they only had one game, this tie could have been a victory. Brian Pier was the star player for Jefferies this week. They scored the only goal for their team.Exiting week 3, Waboba will look ahead to Treadmill Trotters (1-2-0) who are next on the docket. For Jefferies they will go toe to toe with Burton Birdwatchers (2-0-1).

Treadmill Trotters (1-2) vs. African Bush Elephants (0-3) – Sunday, July 01, and 2018
This is the 3rd week and both teams were still on the hunt for their first win of the season. Finally breaking their losing streak, Treadmill Trotters took home an exciting win against African Bush Elephants with a final score of 2-1. Treadmill Trotters really brought it, topping their average of 1.3 goals per game.  Evan Wright scored two goals to help get the crew the win. African Bush Elephants really gave it their all on the defensive end in this one in spite of losing, surrendering less than their average of 3.0 goals against per game this season. John Haller scored the only goal for African Bush Elephants to prevent the shut out. Next up for Treadmill Trotters is a contest versus Waboba (0-1-1). Next week, African Bush Elephants take on Waboba (0-1-1) in an attempt to get off the schneid.

Burton Birdwatchers (2-0-1) vs. Net Six and Chill (2-0-1) – Sunday, July 01, and 2018
Burton Birdwatchers and Net Six and Chill had a draw and concluded knotted up at 0-0. With no goals to add to their record, this game drops Net Six and Chill’s average to 2 points per game. Setting a record for the Burton Birdwatchers, this was their best defensive game of the season. For Net Six and Chill next they take on Spoons FC (2-0-0). Exiting week 3, Burton Birdwatchers will look ahead to Jefferies (0-1-1) who are next on the docket.
