Spring 2021 Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football – Week 4

Cobras (3-1) v. Back Dat Pass Up (2-2) – Wednesday, April 14,2021

Cobras posted one of their finest defensive performances of the season with a 39-0 win over Back Dat Pass Up in Week 4 of the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football League. Not only do the Cobras have one of the stingiest defenses in the League, offensively they are the highest-scoring team in the league as well, averaging 24.5 points per game. Next up for Cobras is a match-up versus Lightfoot’s Disciples (2-3-0) coming up in Week 5 as they look to record their fourth win in a row. Cobras will then need to step right back onto the field and take on Goodfellas (4-1-0) as they are slated for the double header in Week 5. Back Dat Pass Up struggled to get it going in terms of scoring in this game, scoring less than their average of 16.30 points per game this year. All Cap (0-4-0) are next up on the docket for Back Dat Pass Up, as they look to get back into the winner’s circle.

 

Goodfellas (4-1) v. Lightfoot’s Disciples (2-3) – Wednesday, April 14, 2021

For the second time this season, Goodfellas came out with a win against Lightfoot’s Disciples. This time Goodfellas put 13 on the board and held Lightfoot’s Disciples to 6 points in Week 4 of the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football League. Goodfellas really brought their A game on D in this game, beating their season points against average of 9.6 ppg. QB Mike Pink passed two TDs, finding Matt Ochoa and Cameron Hilpert for one score apiece. Goodfellas will look to keep their winning momentum going as they have a huge rematch with Cobras (3-1-0) coming up in Week 5 with first place in the League Standings on the line. Lightfoot’s Disciples really were unable to get rolling in this game, scoring less than their average of 11.60 points per game this year. During the loss for Lightfoot’s Disciples, QB Calvin Kratohvil hit Kevin Assoian for their only score in this game. Lightfoot’s Disciples could not dwell on this loss for too long as they needed to step right back onto the field and take on All Cap as they were scheduled for the Week 4 double header. Lightfoot’s Disciples (2-3) v. All Cap (0-4) – Wednesday, April 14, 2021

Lightfoot’s Disciples and All Cap participated in a close one in Week 4 of the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football League. The final score of 18-13 reflects the hard work Lightfoot’s Disciples put into every minute of the game.  Lightfoot’s Disciples really showed up in this one, exceeding their average of 11.60 points per game. QB Calvin Kratohvil threw one touchdown, which was caught by Kevin Assoian and ran for one more with his legs. The win gives Lightfoot’s Disciples a Week 4 split and takes their overall season record up to 2-3 on the year. Cobras (3-1-0) is next up on the calendar for Lightfoot’s Disciples coming up in Week 5, as they attempt to record back-to-back victories for the first time this season. Despite the loss, All Cap really played their A game on in terms of scoring in this game, topping their average of 6.80 points per game this season. In the loss for All Cap, QB Joe Mendolia tossed two TD passes, connecting with Matt Shannon and Ryan Kennedy. Coming up in Week 5, All Cap will try to put a 1 in the win column versus Back Dat Pass Up (2-2-0).
