#1 Cobras are your Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s INT Flag Football League Champions after defeating #2 Goodfellas 19-0 in the League Championship Game! This was the third time this season that #1 Cobras have defeated #2 Goodfellas. #1 Cobras are the highest-scoring team in the league, averaging 26.8 PPG. QB Chuck delivered two touchdowns through the air, hitting Matt Troja for one of them and ran for one more to help secure the league title. CONGRATULATIONS to #1 Cobras on your league Championship! #2 Goodfellas really were unable to get rolling on offense in this game, scoring less than their average of 13.70 points per game this year. It was the first time this season that #2 Goodfellas failed to make it onto the scoreboard. While this is certainly a bit of a disappointing ending for #2 Goodfellas, they still have a fantastic Spring campaign. We hope to see this crew back on the field next season competing for another league title!
