#8 seed Inglorious Flagsters blanked #9 seed INDY Team #7 32-0 in Round 1 of the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC Flag Football League Playoffs. Inglorious Flagsters brought their A game in this one, beating their average of 11.50 points per game. QB Sean Dickson threw three TDs, hitting Shelby Carpenter for two of them. While INDY Team #7 had certainly hoped to see their season advance a bit further, they still competed hard each week. This game finished with a final score of 43-0. solitairefreezewar.com really stepped up on defense, beating their season points against average of 14.9 ppg. QB Derrion Lockett delivered three touchdowns through the air, finding Donovan Clark for one of them and ran for two more with his legs. This Quarterfinals victory now sees #1 solitairefreezewar.com advance into the Semifinals coming up on Wednesday night where they will take on #4 seed 3rd and Schlong (6-1). Winner of this game will advance into the Championship game. Inglorious Flagsters really struggled to get it going in this game, scoring less than their average of 11.50 points per game this season. Patomic Bomb (6-1) v. Show Me Dem TDs (2-5) – Wednesday, May 5, and 2021
Just like earlier in the season back in Week 2, #3 Patomic Bomb won the rematch between these two squads in the Quarterfinals of the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC Flag Football League Playoffs. With a final score of 42-6, #3 Patomic Bomb cruised past #6 Show Me Dem TDs to book their spot in the Semifinals. #3 Patomic Bomb stepped up on D in this one, beating their season points against average of 10.4 points per game. QB Clayton Sanger threw six scores, hitting six different receivers along the way. #3 Patomic Bomb will take on #2 No Punt Intended (6-1) in the Semifinals coming up on Wednesday night. Winner of this game will book their spot in the Championship game. Show Me Dem TDs were unable to get rolling on offense in this one, scoring less than their average of 14.10 ppg for the season. The season comes to an end for Show Me Dem TDs following this Quarterfinals defeat but overall, it was a great season. 3rd and Schlong (6-1) v. Snipers (4-3) – Wednesday, May 5, and 2021
As was the case earlier this season back in Week 5, #4 3rd and Schlong won the rematch between #5 Snipers in the Quarterfinals of the Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC Flag Football League Playoffs. These guys, #4 3rd and Schlong, really buckled down in this game, winning, despite scoring less than their avg. ppg of 32.30. QB Marek threw two TDs, with Cody Kirby on the receiving end of most of them. The win advances 3rd and Schlong into the Semifinals where they will now take on #1 solitairefreezerwar.com coming up on Wednesday night. Winner of this game will book their spot into the Championship game. #5 Snipers struggled to get it going on offense in this game, scoring less than their average of 22.90 points per game for the season. With the loss, the Snipers season ends a little sooner than they had hoped. This squad was a tough out all season long and we hope to see them battling for another league title next season!
