Flags & Flasks (5-0) v. KaBoom! (4-2) – Monday, May 10, 2021

Flags & Flasks and KaBoom! played in a nail-biter in Week 5 of the Monday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC Flag Football League. The final score of 26-21 reflects the hard work Flags & Flasks put into every minute of the game. Flags & Flasks are the highest-scoring team in the league, averaging 34.0 points per game. QB Matt Sandt threw three TDs, passing to Marissa Stafford for one of them and ran for one more. Flags & Flasks could not celebrate this victory for too long as they needed to step right back onto the field and take on Nasty Narwhals as they had the Week 5 double header on their slate. Earning the same result as they did just last week, Flags & Flasks won the rematch between these two squads in Week 5 of the Monday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC Flag Football League. The final score of 38-6 gives Flags & Flasks a five-game winning streak. QB Matt Sandt delivered four more TDs, hitting Steven Gilman for two of them and rushed for two more. Coming up in Week 6, Flags & Flasks take on KaBoom! (4-2) in an attempt to stay perfect prior to the postseason beginning. Nasty Narwhals did not have their best stuff on the offensive end in this game, scoring less than their average of 16.20 points per game for the season. For Nasty Narwhals, QB Tim Murphy hit Matt Maciaszek for one touchdown. Nasty Narwhals (1-5) v. No Punt Intended (1-5) – Monday, May 10, 2021

They thought they might go the entire season without a victory, but Nasty Narwhals won the rematch between No Punt Intended in Week 5 of the Monday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC Flag Football League. The final score of 33-28 reflects the hard work Nasty Narwhals put into every minute of the game to secure their first victory of the season. QB Tim Murphy threw five scores, finding Blake Little for one of them. No Punt Intended (1-5-0) are next up on the calendar once against for Nasty Narwhals coming up in Week 6, as they look to close out their regular season schedule on a two-game winning streak. Even with the L on their record, No Punt Intended really gave everything they had on in terms of scoring, exceeding their average of 21.00 points per game this year. During the loss for No Punt Intended, QB Carlie hit Richard Jones for two touchdowns.
