Spring 2021 Monday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC Flag Football – Week 4

KaBoom! (4-1) v. No Punt Intended (1-4) – Monday, April 26, 2021

As they did back on opening night, KaBoom! won the rematch between No Punt Intended in Week 4 of the Monday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC Flag Football League. With a final score of 35-19, KaBoom! earned their third-straight W. KaBoom! stepped up, exceeding their average of 22.80 points per game. QB Shaun Himmerick was unstoppable as he passed for five touchdowns, hitting Hassan Myles for two of them. Next up for KaBoom! is a date against Flags & Flasks coming up in Week 5 as they look to make it four wins in a row. No Punt Intended were unable to put up much of a defensive effort in this one, allowing more points than their average of 29.60 PAPG this season. For No Punt Intended, in the loss, QB Kyle Medbery hit Jalen Bovia and David Brown for one touchdown apiece and ran in one on his own. No Punt Intended could not dwell over this loss for too long however as they needed to step right back onto the pitch and take on Flags & Flasks as they had a double header on their slate in Week 4. Flags & Flasks (3-0) v. No Punt Intended (1-4) – Monday, April 26, 2021

As they did just last week, Flags & Flasks won the rematch between No Punt Intended in Week 4 of the Monday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC Flag Football League. With a final score of 32-20, Flags & Flasks stay undefeated in the campaign. Flags & Flasks are the highest-scoring team in the league this season, averaging 35.3 ppg. QB Matt Sandt threw one touchdown, which was caught by Damien, while also rushing in three on his own. Flags & Flasks could not celebrate this victory for too long however as they needed to step right back onto the field and take on Nasty Narwhals as they had a double header on their slate in Week 4. More on this game below. No Punt Intended had two games on their slate in Week 4 and unfortunately dropped both contests. For No Punt Intended, QB Kyle Medbery hit Richard Jones for three touchdowns, unfortunately it just was not enough to keep pace with the highest scoring team in the league. Nasty Narwhals (0-4) is next up on the docket for No Punt Intended coming up in Week 5, as they look to get back on track.

 

Flags & Flasks (3-0) v. Nasty Narwhals (0-4) – Monday, April 26, 2021

Flags & Flasks and Nasty Narwhals competed in an absolute shoot-out, totaling 58 points in Week 4 of the Monday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC Flag Football League. The final score of 40-18 reflects the hard work Flags & Flasks put into every minute of the game. QB Matt Sandt passed for four more touchdowns in this one for Flags & Flasks, hitting Reggie Miller for two of them. QB Sandt also ran for one with his legs. Flags & Flasks walked away with two victories in Week 4 and now see their record sit at a perfect 3-0. Flags & Flasks will attempt to stay unbeaten coming up in Week 5 with a match-up against KaBoom! (4-1-0). Despite the loss, Nasty Narwhals really played their A game on offense in this one, beating their average of 14.50 ppg for the year. During the loss, QB Tim Murphy hit Blake Little for two touchdowns. Nasty Narwhals seeks to get their first win of the season coming up in Week 5 with a match-up against No Punt Intended (1-4-0).
