Spring 2021 Monday Lincoln Park TURF Coed REC Flag Football – Week 2
No Punt Intended (1-1) v. Nasty Narwhals (0-2) – Monday, April 12, 2021
No Punt Intended started strong but, in the end, they were hanging on. All the twists and turns made the No Punt Intended 26-21 victory over Nasty Narwhals in Week 2 of the Monday Lincoln Park TURF Coed Flag Football League less than aesthetically pleasing, but the final result sure beat the alternative. QB David Brown accounted for all four scores for No Punt Intended in this contest, firing touchdown passes to four different receivers. For No Punt Intended, each week is a big opportunity to grab wins early on. Coming up in Week 3 No Punt Intended will line-up against Flags & Flasks (0-0) as they look to record back-to-back victories. Despite losing, Nasty Narwhals really gave it their all in this game, exceeding their point total from their Week 1 game. In the loss for Nasty Narwhals, QB Tim Murphy hit Blake Little for two touchdowns and connected with Matt Maciaszek for another, but it just was not enough to get past a determined No Punt Intended squad. For Nasty Narwhals they will move on to a date with KaBoom! (2-1-0) coming up in Week 3 as they strive to rebound from this slim defeat.
60 Yard Line (1-0) v. KaBoom! (2-1) – Monday, April 12, 2021
60 Yard Line utilized an explosive offense and a stingy defense in Week 2 of the Monday Lincoln Park TURF Coed Flag Football League to top KaBoom! 32-7 in their season opener. The final score of 32-7 reflects the hard work 60 Yard Line put into every minute of the game. They are the highest-scoring team in the league early on this season. QB Joe passed for four scores, finding Derron for three of them. KaBoom! really did not have their best stuff in this one, scoring less than their average of 19.70 points per game this season. In the loss, QB Shaun Himmerick hit Bree Hinkle for their only score in this game. For KaBoom! they will have a date against Nasty Narwhals (0-2-0) coming up in Week 3 as they try to get back into the winners circle.
