Chicago Cougars shut out EY with a final score of just 1-0. Despite losing, EY have a significant amount of games to practice their offensive skills before play-offs. As for EY they will have a pairing with Footloose (0-1-0) as they strive to bounce back. To provide some scoring, Guillermo Alvarez prevented the loss by scoring their only goal. Shout-out to goalkeeper, Uge Martinez, for the shutout! Chicago Cougars will try to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 2.

Peaked in High School were incredible on both sides of the pitch against Footloose with a final score of 5-0. Peaked in High School had a double header. Both matches were victories, which means they’re heating up! Willie Filian and Roberto Moreno both contributed to the final score with 2 and 1 goals respectively. Shout-out to goalie, Jared Juskiewicz, for the shutout! Exiting week 1, Peaked in High School will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. Jimmy’s U10s shut out INDY Team #7 with a final score of just 1-0. To guide the team’s attack, Tara D’Agostino scored their only goal. The club’s goalkeeper, Karim Maalouf, is credited with the clean sheet. Even though they lost, INDY Team #7 have plenty of games to practice their offensive skills before play-offs.
