Blue Guys (6-2-1) vs. Train Wreck (5-2-2) – Wednesday, May 23, 2018
It was a Championship Game written for the movies. Could the #2 seeded team, Blue Guys outplay the #1 seeded team, Train Wreck? In this game, yes they could! Train Wreck struggled to get it going offensively in this one and suffered a shutout. Blue Guys were hot with two wins in a row, and can credit much of their success to their goalkeeper who earned a shutout in this one for Blue Guys. On the offensive end, Meagan Reitz was among those who scored in this playoff win for The Guys’. Being one of the top two teams, Train Wreck was optimistic heading into the championship match, so this loss is a tough one. But they definitely have what it takes to win and we expect to see them doing well again next season.  Congratulations to Blue Guys on a great season and their championship win! We hope to see this squad return to defend their title.
