It was a Championship Game written for the movies. Could the #2 seeded team, Legion of Boom outplay the #1 seeded team, S.H.I.T. (Superheroes in Training)? In this game, yes, they could! By the score of 26-19, Legion of Boom got a win. They battled hard for this game, emerging victorious despite allowing more points than their season points average of 11.3 points per game. QB Michael Migut passed three TDs, passing to Harold Robinson for one of them and running for one more. In the loss, QB Kevin Linklater hit Anastasia Fitzsimons for one touchdown and scampered in for another. Congratulations to Legion of Boom on a great season and their championship win! We hope to see this squad return to defend their title. Being one of the top two teams, S.H.I.T. (Superheroes in Training) was optimistic heading into the championship match, so this loss is a tough one. They definitely have what it takes to win and we expect to see them doing well again next season.

Additionally, they were the higher ranked #1 seed playing the #4 seed, Prestige Worldwide. They confidently took the win to advance to the Championship Game. By the score of 35-12, No Punt Intended got a lopsided W to maintain a zero in the loss column. They really showed up on D, beating their season points against an average of 14.8 points per game. QB Justin Dreyfuss delivered four TDs, finding Ricky for two of them. They dominated in the regular season, and it’s no surprise No Punt Intended advanced to the Championship game. QB Derek Parker delivered two touchdowns, finding Janice Matacic for one of them and rushed in one on his own. The semi-final win for The Recruits advanced them to the championship game.
