SPRING 2018 WED LINCOLN PARK COED REC FLAG FOOTBALL – CSSC LEAGUE RECAP – WEEK 5

ChicaGo Badgers (4-2) v. The Salty Sack (2-3) – Wednesday, April 25, 2018
ChicaGo Badgers and The Salty Sack combined for an offensive explosion totaling 72 points. The final score of 39-33 reflects the hard work ChicaGo Badgers put into every minute of the game. ChicaGo Badgers brought it in this one, exceeding their average of 25.50 ppg. QB Cal Ehrke passed four touchdowns, passing to Mike Sebring for two of them and ran for two with his own legs.  During the loss for The Salty Sack, QB Eric Berg hit Jamie Brown for one touchdown and ran in one other. ChicaGo Badgers and Any Given Wednesday were very evenly matched in this one. By the final score of 26-19 ChicaGo Badgers came out on top. These guys really brought their A game on the defensive end in this one, beating their season points against average of 28.2 points per game. QB Cal Ehrke threw four touchdowns, finding Matthew Larson for three of them, and Kelsey O’Brien for one of them. Any Given Wednesday really struggled to get it going in this game, scoring less than their average of 21.40 points per game for the season. During the loss for Any Given Wednesday, QB Jake Whitfield hit Brandon Curry for one touchdown. Legion of Boom (3-2-0) is next up on the calendar for Any Given Wednesday, as they look to get back on track.

Flaggin’ Ball Z (3-3) v. INDY Team #7 (1-3) – Wednesday, April 25, 2018
Flaggin’ Ball Z and INDY Team #7 took part in a nail-biter. Flaggin’ Ball Z came out as victors by the score of 26-20. They showed some fight in this one, prevailing despite allowing more points than their season points against average of 14.2 points per game. QB David Romanchuk threw three touchdowns, hitting Abby Eddy for one of them. INDY Team #7 gave everything they had on offense in this one despite the loss, topping their average of 17.80 ppg for the year. In the loss for INDY Team #7, QB Ben Ostermann hit Nicholas Ma for one touchdown and rushed for one. Lo Meyer also threw one touchdown to Ben Ostermann for a score. Bad News Bears (1-3-1) are next up on the docket for Flaggin’ Ball Z, as they look to keep it going. Next up for INDY Team #7 is a showdown versus TCG Ballers (0-3-1), as they look to rebound.

Prestige Worldwide (3-2) v. Legion of Boom (3-2) – Wednesday, April 25, 2018
Prestige Worldwide defeated Legion of Boom with a score of 25-20. Prestige Worldwide showed some fight in this game, emerging victorious, despite scoring less than their avg. ppg of 28.00. QB Keith Goldner threw four TDs, hitting Abe Schwadron and Kevin Terry for two touchdowns each. During the loss, QB Kari hit Gretchen for two touchdowns. INDY Team #7 (1-3-0) is next up on the docket for Prestige Worldwide, as they look to keep it going. Any Given Wednesday (3-2-0) is next up on the docket for Legion of Boom, as they try to bounce back.

No Punt Intended (5-0) v. Multiple scoregasms (0-5) – Wednesday, April 25, 2018
With a final score of 33-13, No Punt Intended remains unbeaten. QB Justin Dreyfuss delivered five touchdowns, finding Gabe Lipari, Kadijat Alaka, Ryan Hooper, Ricky, and Dani for one touchdown each. Multiple scoregasms gave it their all on offense despite the loss, exceeding their average of 10.20 points per game this season. During the loss, QB Bassim Audi hit Andrew Lively for one touchdown and rushed for one more. On Wednesday, No Punt Intended takes on S.H.I.T. (superheroes in training) (5-1-0) in an attempt to remain undefeated. Next week, No Punt Intended attempt to break their winless streak against Accounts Playable (3-2-0).

Bad News Bears (1-3-1) v. TCG Ballers (0-3-1) – Wednesday, April 25, 2018
Bad News Bears and TCG Ballers had a draw and ended all tied at 14-14.  For Bad News Bears, QB Steve passed two scores, finding Matthew Damhauser and Scott Jarnac for both. TCG Ballers really did everything they could on offense, beating their average of 10.00 points per game for the season. For TCG Ballers, QB Nick Dunlap hit Matt for one touchdown and ran in one other. Exiting week 5, Bad News Bears will look ahead to Flaggin’ Ball Z (3-3-0) who are next on the calendar.  For TCG Ballers next up is INDY Team #7 (1-3-0).

The Recruits (4-1) v. Will Tau (0-5) – Wednesday, April 25, 2018
The Recruits and Will Tau lit up the scoreboard, combining for 63 points. The Recruits put 42 on the board and held Will Tau to 21 points. The Recruits showed up, topping their average of 29.40 points per game. QB Derek Parker delivered six scores, finding MK Raffaniello for three of them. Will Tau really brought their best, even with this loss on their record, by topping their average of 12.00 points per game this season. For Will Tau, in the loss, QB Jamie Mcconnell hit Karlo Stetic for one touchdown. Next up for The Recruits is a contest against The Salty Sack (2-3-0). S.H.I.T. (superheroes in training) shut out Accounts Playable with a final score of 45-0. S.H.I.T. (superheroes in training) really showed up, beating their average of 29.80 points per game. QB Kevin Linklater threw six scores, finding Brett Vollmar and Justin Montalvo for two scores each. Also, receiving one touchdown each from Kevin Linklater was also Kailee Cable and Timothy Yung. Accounts Playable were unable to get rolling on offense in this one, scoring less than their average of 22.00 ppg this year. Next up for S.H.I.T.
