SPRING 2018 WED LINCOLN PARK COED REC FLAG FOOTBALL – CSSC LEAGUE RECAP – WEEK 3

The Recruits (2-1) v. Bad News Bears (1-2) – Wednesday, April 11, 2018
The Recruits and Bad News Bears lit up the scoreboard, combining for 71 points. The final score of 39-32 reflects the hard work The Recruits put into every minute of the game.  These guys showed up in this game, beating their average of 24.00 points per game. QB Derek Parker threw four scores, passing to Andy Ungerman for three of them. Bad News Bears really played their A game on the offensive end in this one despite the loss, beating their average of 21.30 points per game this year. During the loss, QB Steve hit Joe Austria for one touchdown. INDY Team #7 (1-1-0) are next up on the docket for The Recruits, as they look to keep it going.   Next up for Bad News Bears is a battle against S.H.I.T. No Punt Intended (3-0) v. Flaggin’ Ball Z (0-3) – Wednesday, April 11, 2018
No Punt Intended and Flaggin’ Ball Z were extremely evenly matched in this contest. By the score of 26-20, No Punt Intended got a victory to stay undefeated on the campaign.  They really buckled down in this game, emerging victorious, despite scoring less than their avg. ppg of 34.70. QB Justin Dreyfuss threw two scores, hitting Edward Boateng and Nikki for one score each. Flaggin’ Ball Z really gave everything they had in terms of scoring even though they lost, exceeding their average of 11.00 ppg for the year. For Flaggin’ Ball Z, in the loss, QB David Romanchuk hit Shelby Marks and Ibrahim Jacobs for one touchdown. No Punt Intended will try to stay perfect next week with a pairing against ChicaGo Badgers (2-1-0).   Flaggin’ Ball Z will try to get their first win next week versus Will Tau (0-3-0).

ChicaGo Badgers (2-1) v. Multiple scoregasms (0-3) – Wednesday, April 11, 2018
ChicaGo Badgers and Multiple scoregasms combined for an offensive explosion totaling 72 points. ChicaGo Badgers came out on top with a 40-32 victory.  ChicaGo Badgers showed up in this one, exceeding their average of 22.70 points per game. QB Cal Ehrke passed four scores, hitting Zach Thuecks for two of them, and Nisha Belani and Haley Schmits for one each. Despite the loss, Multiple scoregasms played their A game in terms of scoring in this game, exceeding their average of 12.70 ppg for the season. For Multiple scoregasms, QB Bassim Audi hit Andrew Lively for three touchdowns and rushed for one more. Any Given Wednesday crushed TCG Ballers with a final score of 45-13.  These guys really showed up in this game, topping their average of 27.30 points per game. QB Jake Whitfield threw five scores, hitting Ali Stahlke for two of them. TCG Ballers really struggled to stop anything on defense in this game, giving up more points than their opening contest. During the loss for TCG Ballers, QB Eric Klaus hit Eric Klaus and Matt threw to each other for one touchdown each. Multiple scoregasms (0-3-0) are next up on the calendar for Any Given Wednesday, as they look to keep it going. S.H.I.T. (superheroes in training) (2-1) v. Legion of Boom (2-1) – Wednesday, April 11, 2018
S.H.I.T. (superheroes in training) and Legion of Boom were very evenly matched in this contest. Although, S.H.I.T. (superheroes in training) came out victorious with a 19-12 victory. QB Kevin Linklater threw two touchdowns, finding Justin Montalvo for all of them and ran in one on his own. Despite the loss, Legion of Boom is the highest-scoring team in the league for the season, their average of 37.00 points per game for the year. For Legion of Boom, in the loss, QB Michael Migut hit Latoya Jackson for one touchdown. Next up for S.H.I.T. (superheroes in training) is a pairing versus Bad News Bears (1-2-0).   Accounts Playable (3-0-0) is next up on the docket for Legion of Boom, as they look to rebound.

Accounts Playable (3-0) v. Any Given Wednesday (2-1) – Wednesday, April 11, 2018
Accounts Playable and Any Given Wednesday competed in a great game with a final score of 32-25. Accounts Playable took this W! These guys are the highest-scoring team in the league, averaging 36.7 points per game. QB Michael Scherpenberg threw three touchdowns, finding Ryan Aykroid for two of them and ran for one with his legs. Any Given Wednesday really was unable to put up much of a defense in this one, allowing more points than their average of 17.30 points against per game for the season. In the loss for Any Given Wednesday, QB Jake Whitfield hit Dj Reynolds for two touchdowns and Michelle Stratton for one. INDY Team #7 (1-1) v. Will Tau (0-3) – Wednesday, April 11, 2018
INDY Team #7 and Will Tau were extremely evenly matched in this match-up. INDY Team #7 grasped this win with a 20-13 victory. These guys really stepped up in this one, beating their opening game point total. QB Kevin Jacob and Lo Meyer passed one touchdown each, which was caught by Brad Gines. During the loss for Will Tau, QB Jt Bohland hit Jamie Mcconnell for one touchdown. The Recruits (2-1-0) are next up on the calendar for INDY Team #7, as they look to keep it going.   Will Tau will seek to get their first win next week with a match-up versus Flaggin’ Ball Z (0-3-0).

Prestige Worldwide (2-1) v. The Salty Sack (1-2) – Wednesday, April 11, 2018
Prestige Worldwide and The Salty Sack completed this match with a final score of 45-30. The score reflects the hard work Prestige Worldwide put into every minute of the game.  They really showed up in this game, topping their average of 30.30 points per game.
