SPRING 2018 WED LINCOLN PARK COED REC FLAG FOOTBALL – CSSC LEAGUE RECAP – WEEK 2

The Salty Sack (1-1) v. INDY Team #7 (0-1) – Wednesday, April 04, 2018
The final score of 27-13 reflects the hard work The Salty Sack put into every minute of the game.  They really stepped up in this game, exceeding their opening game point total. QB Eric Berg delivered two TDs, finding Michael Van De Wyngaerde and Ryan McDonough for one each and scampered in two on his own. The season is still young, and INDY Team #7 has significant amounts of weeks to get better on offense. For INDY Team #7, QB Kevin Jacob hit Ben Ostermann for one touchdown.  Prestige Worldwide (1-1-0) is next on the docket for The Salty Sack, as they look for another win early on this season.   Will Tau (0-2-0) is next on the schedule for INDY Team #7.

Prestige Worldwide (1-1) v. The Recruits (1-1) – Wednesday, April 04, 2018
Prestige Worldwide and The Recruits participated in a nail-biter. By the score of 20-19, Prestige Worldwide got a tight W.  These guys really battled hard for this one, winning, despite scoring less than they did in their first game. QB Keith Goldner threw three TDs, hitting Pete, Rob, and Sarai for one touchdown each. Despite losing, The Recruits are averaging 16.50 ppg. In the loss for The Recruits, QB Mk Raffaniello hit Andy Ungerman for one touchdown.  Exiting week 2, Prestige Worldwide will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. Next up is a throw down against The Salty Sack (1-1-0).  As for The Recruits they will have a date with Bad News Bears (1-1-0) as they attempt to come back from this one.

Accounts Playable (2-0) v. Will Tau (0-2) – Wednesday, April 04, 2018
Accounts Playable crushed Will Tau. With a final score of 46-14, Accounts Playable will stay unbeaten.  QB Michael Scherpenberg passed six scores, hitting Matt Lynch for four of them. In spite of the loss, Will Tau really gave everything they had on offense in this game, topping their total from their opening contest. Any Given Wednesday (1-0-0) is next on the docket for Accounts Playable. INDY Team #7 (0-1-0) will compete against Will Tau.

No Punt Intended (2-0) v. Bad News Bears (1-1) – Wednesday, April 04, 2018
No Punt Intended crushed Bad News Bears. With a final score of 40-6, No Punt Intended stays undefeated in the campaign.  If No Punt Intended keeps playing like this, they’re sure to find continued success. QB Justin Dreyfuss delivered six TDs, passing to Edward Boateng and Gabe Lipari for two each and rushed in one on his own. Bad News Bears really were unable to get rolling on the offensive end in this game, scoring less than their total from their opening match-up. Flaggin’ Ball Z (0-2-0) are next on the schedule for No Punt Intended.   For Bad News Bears next is a match-up against The Recruits (1-1-0) as they try to rebound.

Any Given Wednesday (1-0) v. Flaggin’ Ball Z (0-2) – Wednesday, April 04, 2018
Any Given Wednesday and Flaggin’ Ball Z played in a close one. Any Given Wednesday put 12 on the board and held their opponent to 7 points. The defense for Any Given Wednesday did just enough to defeat Flaggin’ Ball Z. Shoutout goes to Jake Whitfield on his two scoring passes to both Lo Meyer and DJ Reynolds, great job on those catches. Despite losing, Flaggin’ Ball Z really gave everything they had on offense in this one, beating their total from their Week 1 contest. During the loss for Flaggin’ Ball Z, QB Eman Bucaro hit Shelby Marks for one touchdown.  Next up is a showdown against TCG Ballers (0-1-0).   Next up for Flaggin’ Ball Z is a contest against No Punt Intended (2-0-0).

Flaggin’ Ball Z (0-2) v. TCG Ballers (0-1) – Wednesday, April 04, 2018
Flaggin’ Ball Z ends with a 25-13 victory against TCG Ballers QB David Romanchuk and Kaitlynd Gardner each delivered two touchdowns, finding David Romanchuk, Eman Bucaro, Kaitlynd Gardner, and Shelby Marks for one score each. It’s only week one, and TCG Ballers has significant amounts of opportunities to improve on offense. For TCG Ballers, in the loss, QB Nick Dunlap hit Michael Oppenheim for one touchdown.  Exiting week 2, Flaggin’ Ball Z will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. ChicaGo Badgers (1-1) v. S.H.I.T. (superheroes in training) (1-1) – Wednesday, April 04, 2018
ChicaGo Badgers and S.H.I.T. (superheroes in training) competed a nail-biter. ChicaGo Badgers came out on top with a 20-13 victory.  QB Cal Ehrke delivered three scores, hitting James Schneck, Kelsey O’Brien, and Mike Sebring for one touchdown each. Despite the loss, S.H.I.T. (superheroes in training) are averaging 20.00 points per game. During the loss, QB Kevin Linklater hit Al Keel for one touchdown.  For ChicaGo Badgers, each contest is a big game for them to gather wins early on. Multiple scoregasms (0-2-0) are next on the docket for ChicaGo Badgers. As for S.H.I.T. (superheroes in training) next up is a game with Legion of Boom (2-0-0) as they try to get to the win column.

Legion of Boom (2-0) v. Multiple scoregasms (0-2) – Wednesday, April 04, 2018
Legion of Boom shut out Multiple scoregasms with a final score of 60-0.  It’s only week one, but Legion of Boom are the early leaders in scoring. QB Michael Migut passed four scores and Gretchen passed two, hitting Frank Abel for two of them, and Harold Robinson, Thomas Ross, Getchen, and LaToya Jackson for one each. Multiple scoregasms really didn’t have their best stuff in this one, scoring less than their total from their opening game. Next up is a throw down with S.H.I.T. (superheroes in training) (1-1-0).
