SPRING 2018 WED LINCOLN PARK COED REC FLAG FOOTBALL – CSSC LEAGUE RECAP – WEEK 1

Accounts Playable (1-0) v. Prestige Worldwide (0-1) – Wednesday, March 28, 2018
Accounts Playable and Prestige Worldwide lit up the scoreboard, combining for 58 points. With a final score of 32-26, Accounts Playable starts the season undefeated.  QB Michael Scherpenberg threw one touchdown, which was caught by Jacinda Southworth and scampered for three with his own legs. It’s only the first week, and Prestige Worldwide has plenty of weeks to pick it up on offense. In the loss for Prestige Worldwide, QB Kevin Terry hit Keith Goldner for two touchdowns.  Next up for Accounts Playable is a showdown against Will Tau (0-1-0).  Next up for Prestige Worldwide is a match-up with The Recruits (1-0-0).

Bad News Bears (1-0) v. Will Tau (0-1) – Wednesday, March 28, 2018
Bad News Bears put 26 on the board and held Will Tau to 12 points. QB Steve delivered four TDs, passing to Will Rumsey for two of them, and Claire Jolcover and Scott Jarnac for one each also. The season is still young, and Will Tau has tons of weeks to get better on offense. For Will Tau, QB Dan rushed for one touchdown.  Next up for Bad News Bears is a battle with No Punt Intended (1-0-0).   Next up for Will Tau is a throw down against Accounts Playable (1-0-0).

No Punt Intended (1-0) v. The Salty Sack (0-1) – Wednesday, March 28, 2018
No Punt Intended blew out The Salty Sack by the score of 38-13 to start the season with a zero in the loss column.  If No Punt Intended keep it up on offense, expect them to experience continued success for the rest of the season. QB Justin Dreyfuss threw six TDs, hitting Gabe Lipari for two of them. It’s only week one, and The Salty Sack has significant amounts of time to improve on offense. In the loss for The Salty Sack, QB Eric Berg hit Brittney Riordan and Tom for one touchdown each.  Bad News Bears (1-0-0) are next on the schedule for No Punt Intended.   Next up for The Salty Sack is a showdown with INDY Team #7 (0-0-0).

The Recruits (1-0) v. Flaggin’ Ball Z (0-1) – Wednesday, March 28, 2018
The Recruits and Flaggin’ Ball Z took part in a close one. By the score of 14-6, The Recruits got a solid win to kick off their season. QB Mk Raffaniello delivered one TD, which was caught by Jasck. Flaggin’ Ball Z has a long season ahead of them. They still have a lot of time to pick it up and get a W. Next up for The Recruits is a battle against Prestige Worldwide (0-1-0).  Next up for Flaggin’ Ball Z is a battle against Any Given Wednesday (0-0-0).

S.H.I.T. (superheroes in training) (1-0) v. Multiple scoregasms (0-1) – Wednesday, March 28, 2018
S.H.I.T. (superheroes in training) fought hard their 27-6 victory against Multiple scoregasms. QB Kevin Linklater delivered one TD and ran for one with his legs for S.H.I.T. (superheroes in training). For Multiple scoregasms, QB Bassim Audi hit Matt Knight for one touchdown.  Next up is a throwdown against ChicaGo Badgers (0-1-0).   Next up for Multiple scoregasms is a Game with Legion of Boom (1-0-0).

Legion of Boom (1-0) v. ChicaGo Badgers (0-1) – Wednesday, March 28, 2018
Legion of Boom blew out ChicaGo Badgers. Legion of Boom put 39 on the board and held their opponent to 8 points. It’s only week one, but Legion of Boom are the early leaders in scoring. QB Michael Migut passed two scores, with Thomas Ross and Gretchen on the receiving end of them. It’s only week one, and ChicaGo Badgers has plenty of opportunities to go back to the drawing board on offense. During the loss, QB Cal Ehrke hit Zack for one touchdown.  Next up is a showdown against Multiple scoregasms (0-1-0).   S.H.I.T.
