Treadmill Trotters and Who Said Cheers?! were very evenly matched in this one and ended tied up at 2-2. Who Said Cheers?! really were unable to stop anything on defense in this game, allowing more goals than their first game. In the tie, Arjun Patel and Wes Higdon kicked one goal each for Who Said Cheers?!.  For Who Said Cheers?! next on the schedule is Burton Birdwatchers (1-1-0). Treadmill Trotters used their 2 goals scored in this game to boost their total goals this season to 2. Chicago Shooters were amazing in this shut out against Columbia Renegades with a final score of 6-0. Columbia Renegades struggled to get it going on the offensive end in this game, scoring fewer than their total from their Week 1 contest. Ray Nugent scored a hat trick with three goals to steer the crew’s offense.  As for Columbia Renegades they will have a throw down with Spoons FC (2-0-0) as they attempt to bounce back. For Chicago Shooters, next up is a throw down against Mayhem (0-2-0), as they look to keep up the momentum.

Chicago Shooters (2-1) vs. Burton Birdwatchers (1-1) – Sunday, April 22, 2018
Chicago Shooters played well here and blanked Burton Birdwatchers with a final score of 2-0. This was one of two games for Chicago Shooters this week. Impressively, they won both matches, which means they’re officially heating up! The team’s Goalie Juan Pelaez got a shutout in this one. To guide the team’s attack, Pelumi Ogunlana netted one goal.  Exiting week 2, Chicago Shooters will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. Spoons FC (2-0) vs. Mayhem (0-2) – Sunday, April 22, 2018
Spoons FC put on a show on both sides of the pitch against Mayhem with a final score of 3-0. Spoons FC is heating up, winning both of their games so far this season. The club’s goalie Danny Deroo deserves much of the credit after earning a clean sheet. To lead the squad’s offense, Desmond Jones and Lara Lieberman both contributed to the final score with 2 and 1 goals respectively.  For Mayhem they’ll move on to a pairing with Chicago Shooters (2-1-0) as they strive to bounce back.
