Squad Goals (4-1-1) vs. Peaked in High School (5-1-1) – Saturday, May 12, 2018
The #1 seed, Peaked in High School, forfeited to the #4 seed, Squad Goals. Despite forfeiting the match, Peaked in High School remain at the top of the standings table in first place. Squad Goals continued their winning streak this week and are officially on fire. Even with a loss this week, Peaked in High School was so far ahead in the rankings, they locked in the #1 seed for playoffs. They’ll face the winner of the #9 vs. #8 seed game. Squad Goals’ win this week solidified their spot as the #4 seed for playoffs. They’ll face the #6 seeded team, Holiday FC.
ManChestHair City (4-1-1) vs. Chicago Chubs (3-1-2) – Saturday, May 12, 2018
ManChestHair City put on a show on both sides of the pitch against Chicago Chubs with a final score of 2-0. This is Chicago Chubs’ first loss of the season. ManChestHair City seems to have found their groove and has won two games in a row. Their goalie Tj Suntikul stone-walled the opponents, earning a shutout for their record. To guide the crew’s offense, Drew Bosarge and Pepe Tono each scored one goal. The loss for Chicago Chubs leaves them as the #5 seed heading into playoffs. They’ll face the #2 seeded team, Jimmy Savile’s u10s (4-1-1). It’s time for playoffs! ManChestHair City is heating up with this week’s win, which lands them in 3rd place for the at the end of the regular season. They’ll face the winner of the #10 seed vs. #7 seed game and try keep their streak going in the first week of playoffs.

Jimmy Savile’s u10s were amazing in this shut out against INDY Team #10 with a final score of 4-0. The club’s goalkeeper Tara D’Agostino got a clean sheet in this one. To guide the club’s attack, Tara D’Agostino accounted for two goals. Jaime Rehm and Rupert Price also score one goal each to add to the final score. Jimmy Savile’s u10s’s win this Saturday solidified their spot as the #2 seed for playoffs next week. They’ll face the #5 seeded team, Chicago Chubs. INDY Team #10 had a double header this week. In contrast to their other game, they couldn’t string together the plays they needed for a win, and they now sit in 7th place in the standings. This loss for INDY Team #10 pushes them down to the #7 seed. They’ll face the #10 seeded team, George Street Pub (0-6-0).
INDY Team #10 (2-4) vs. Scott’s Tots (1-4-2) – Saturday, May 12, 2018
INDY Team #10 wrapped up the regular season with a double header and didn’t benefit in this game. Scott’s Tots beat INDY Team #10 2-1. INDY Team #10 locked in their #8 rank in the standings table. The losing team still had notable players including David Piers Ross, who kicked one goal for INDY Team #10. To lead the club’s attack, Piers Ross made one goal. This was one of two games for Scott’s Tots this week. Sometimes double headers help you get in a groove, other times they lead to heavy legs, and they now sit in 6th place in the standings. Scott’s Tots finished the regular season in 6th place and will face the #9 seeded team, Cat Facts FC (1-4-1) in the first round of playoffs. This is the second time these teams are scheduled to play each other, but it’s hard to say who will win next week, since Cat Facts FC forfeited the match earlier this season. INDY Team #10’s win this week solidified their spot as the #8 seed for playoffs. They’ll face the #10 seeded team, George Street Pub.

Holiday FC absolutely dominated this game in shut out fashion against George Street Pub with a final score of 5-0. The club’s goalie Jack Sombeck deserves much of the credit after earning a shutout. To guide the group’s offense, Jack Sombeck and Michael Young both netted two goals each. Amy Adkins also added one goal to the final score. George Street Pub struggled to get it going in terms of scoring in this one and suffered a shutout. Holiday FC’s win this week locked them in as the #6 seed for playoffs. They’ll face the #4 seeded team, Squad Goals. With no wins this season, it’s no surprise George Street Pub finished as the 10th place seed. They’ll face the #7 seeded team, INDY Team #10 (2-4-0).
