ManChestHair City (3-1-1) vs. George Street Pub (0-5) – Saturday, May 05, 2018

ManChestHair City beat George Street Pub 8-1 in this game. George Street Pub have had a rough season. It’s week 5 and they’ve only scored a total of 5 goals. David Myers scored the only goal for George Street Pub to get his team on the board.  Next week, ManChestHair City battle against Holiday FC (1-3-1) in an attempt to break their winless streak.  Jean Pierre Valencia and Carlos Gonzalez each kicked two goals to spearhead the team’s offense. Also providing some scoring was Andy Harris, Fazil Mehmood, Jade Dorynek, and Sara Bruhn by kicking one goal each. Next up for ManChestHair City is a Game against Chicago Chubs (3-0-2).

 

INDY Team #10 (1-3) vs. Cat Facts FC (1-3-1) – Saturday, May 05, 2018

They feared they might go through the whole season without a win, but INDY Team #10 defeated Cat Facts FC 4-2 in this week’s match-up. This victory for the INDY Team #10 came as a bit of a surprise considering it’s more than halfway through the season and they have only scored less than a handful goals. Alfonso Cortes, James Hansen IV, Sarah Kohlman, and Thomas Ambrus kicked one goal each to spearhead the team’s offense. Next up for INDY Team #10 is a throwdown versus Jimmy Savile’s u10s (3-1-1).  Cat Facts FC really struggled defensively in this game, surrendering more goals than their average of 2.4 goals against per game for the year. The losing team still had notable players including Alex Perkowski and Yilmaz Kulahoglu, who accounted for one goal each for Cat Facts FC.  Scott’s Tots (0-3-2) are next up on the docket for Cat Facts FC, as they look to get back on track.

 

Peaked in High School (5-0-1) vs. Scott’s Tots (0-3-2) – Saturday, May 05, 2018

Scott’s Tots forfeited to Peaked in High School in this match-up. First shout-out goes to Jake Bischoff of Peaked in High School who now leads the league with 6 goals. Next Saturday, Peaked in High School take on Squad Goals (3-1-1) in an attempt to remain undefeated.  The forfeit puts Scott’s Tots in eighth place in the standings table.  Scott’s Tots will look to get off the schneid next week against INDY Team #10 (1-3-0).

 

Squad Goals (3-1-1) vs. Jimmy Savile’s u10s (3-1-1) – Saturday, May 05, 2018

Squad Goals and Jimmy Savile’s u10s competed in a low scoring affair, combining for three goals. Squad Goals took home the 2-1 victory. This is Jimmy Savile’s u10s’s first loss of the season. Tara D’Agostino scored the only goal for Jimmy Savile’s u10s to get their team on the board. This win is the second in a row for Squad Goals, and it bumps them to 3rd place in the standings. Brianna Kunycky and Ian De Soto accounted for one goal each to spearhead the club’s offense.  INDY Team #10 (1-3-0) are next up on the calendar for Jimmy Savile’s u10s, as they look to get into the winner’s circle.  Next up for Squad Goals is a showdown against Peaked in High School (5-0-1).

 

Chicago Chubs (3-0-2) vs. Holiday FC (1-3-1) – Saturday, May 05, 2018

Chicago Chubs shut out Holiday FC with a final score of just 1-0. Chicago Chubs seems to have found their groove and has won two games in a row. The team’s goalkeeper Mark Nelson is credited with the shutout. To guide the club’s offense, Sam Schlesinger scored one goal. Next week, Chicago Chubs battles against ManChestHair City (3-1-1) in an attempt to remain unblemished.  Holiday FC were unable to get rolling in this game, but they’ve had 6 overall goals this season.  George Street Pub (0-5-0) are next up on the docket for Holiday FC, as they look to get into the winner’s circle.
