Spring 2018 Sat DePaul Men’s Rec Basketball – Week 7 Recaps

Team Roberson (5-2) vs. Cheeky Teasers (0-7) – Saturday, June 09, 2018
Grabbing the same result as they did earlier in the year, Team Roberson won the rematch versus Cheeky Teasers. Team Roberson got a solid victory by the score of 73-64, to get their fifth-straight win and stay in a grove against Cheeky Teasers. This team really fought for this game, prevailing despite allowing more points than their season-long points against average of 57.4 points per game. Michael Pearson had a huge game to steer the club’s attack with 29 points, and Dyron Woods now is in the lead for the scoring title with 20.71 points per game. Despite the loss, Cheeky Teasers really gave everything they had on in terms of scoring in this one, exceeding their average of 37.3 PPG this year. William Mcclain led scoring for the team with 25 points.

Havas (3-4) vs. INDY Team #4 (3-5) – Saturday, June 09, 2018
Grabbing the same result as they did earlier in the year, Havas won the rematch versus INDY Team #4. Havas got a big win by the score of 69-49, to earn their third-straight win and continue to cruise against INDY Team #4.  These guys really brought their A game in this game, exceeding their points per game average of 33.6. Sub 2 had a gigantic game to guide the squad’s attack with 29 points. INDY Team #4 really struggled to get it going in this game, scoring less than their average of 66.5 PPG for the season. The leading scorer for INDY Team #4 was Jack Creager who went for 10 points.

Brick by Brick (6-1) vs. Pound Cake (5-2) – Saturday, June 09, 2018
Earning the same result as they did earlier this season, Brick by Brick won the rematch against Pound Cake. With a score of 78-49, Brick by Brick got a crushing win against Pound Cake. Omar Sidiqian had a strong week to help get the team the winner’s circle with 19 points. Pound Cake really were unable to put up much of a defense in this game, surrendering more points than their average of 50.6 PAPG for the season. Even in a losing effort, Dalton Wagler had a gargantuan week to lead the crew’s offense with 32 points.
