Mongrels (2-0) v. Hugs & Cuddles (0-2) – Saturday, May 05, 2018

Mongrels and Hugs & Cuddles competed in an absolute shoot-out, totaling 60 points. With a final score of 40-20, Mongrels stay undefeated in the campaign.  They really brought it, exceeding their first game point total. QB Mark Macleod delivered five touchdowns, and rushed for one more. Hugs & Cuddles are averaging 13.00 points per game. This week Mongrels will compete with INDY Team #7 (0-1-0), as they look to keep up the momentum. As for Hugs & Cuddles they’ll move on to a contest with Dooms Day (0-2-0) as they strive to get to the win column.

 

Chi Town BlitZ (2-0) v. Alcobalics (0-2) – Saturday, May 05, 2018

Chi Town BlitZ blew out Alcobalics. By the score of 53-13, Chi Town BlitZ got a lopsided win to remain unbeaten this year.  If Chi Town BlitZ keep playing like this, expect them to find themselves near the top of the standings, as these guys are a higher scoring team in the league early on this season. Their defense did just enough in this one as well. Despite losing, Alcobalics did everything they could on the offensive end in this game, exceeding their total from their first game. For Chi Town BlitZ, every game is a critical chance to grab wins early on. Next up is a match-up against Midway MonStars (2-0-0).  For Alcobalics they will have a date with Midway MonStars (2-0-0) as they try to rebound.

 

Midway MonStars (2-0) v. Dooms Day (0-2) – Saturday, May 05, 2018

Midway MonStars defeated Dooms Day. The final score of 45-18 reflects the hard work Midway MonStars put into every minute of the game.  They really showed up in this game, exceeding their opening game point total. Their defense did enough to earn the Win in this one as well. Even with this loss, Dooms Day is averaging 13.00 ppg. Exiting week 2, Midway MonStars will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. Alcobalics (0-2-0) are next on the schedule for them. As for Dooms Day next up is a game with Hugs & Cuddles (0-2-0) as they attempt to come back from this one.

 

Dooms Day (0-2) v. INDY Team #7 (0-1) – Saturday, May 05, 2018

Dooms Day crushed INDY Team #7. The final score of 32-6 reflects the hard work Dooms Day put into every minute of the game.  Dooms Day may want to pick up the pace on offense if they’re going to stay near the top of the standings. QB Eriberto Vazquez delivered four TDs, hitting Monet Mailey for one and Whitney for two of them. INDY Team #7 may need to get it going on offense in order to start winning, as they are the lowest-scoring team in the league early on for the season. Exiting week 2, Dooms Day will look ahead to keep their early season momentum.
