Fireballs (2-2-1) vs. INDY Team #2 (0-3) – Friday, May 04, 2018

As they did earlier in the year, Fireballs won the rematch against INDY Team #2. This game finished with a final score of 2-1.  INDY Team #2 have had a rough season. It’s week 4 and they’ve only scored a total of 3 goals. Jonathan Beissinger scored the only goal for INDY Team #2 to prevent the shut out. First shout-out goes to James Griego of Fireballs who now has the most goals in the league with 6 goals. James Griego fired two goals to steer the group’s attack.  Next week, Fireballs take on Inter Chicago (2-1-1) in an attempt to get on the board with a win.  The C Team (3-1-0) are next up on the calendar for Fireballs, as they look to keep it going.

Inter Chicago (2-1-1) vs. The C Team (3-1) – Friday, May 04, 2018

Inter Chicago won the rematch against The C Team. This game finished with a final score of 8-0.  This is The C Team’s first loss of the season but they are so far ahead in the standings that it didn’t impact their #1 ranking in the league. Inter Chicago stepped up in this one, besting their average of 4.0 goals per game. Blaise Deluca and Jacob Nathan each earned a hat trick with three goals and earned the most tallies on the scoresheet. Brad DeFauw and Mike J also scored one goal each for Inter Chicago Next up for The C Team is a showdown against Fireballs (2-2-1), as they look to get into the winner’s circle. Next up for Inter Chicago is a throwdown against INDY Team #2 (0-3-0).
