Fall 2018 Wednesday LP GRASS Coed Rec Flag Football – Week 5

The Bad Guys (1-3) v. JLL (0-3) – Wednesday, October 24, and 2018

The Bad Guys put 33 on the board and held JLL to 21 points. The Bad Guys really stepped up in this one, topping their average of 18.00 ppg. QB Matt Gallop threw four touchdowns, finding Dan Conway for all of them and rushed for one more. Despite losing, JLL brought their best, exceeding their average of 18.30 points per game for the year. In the loss, QB Alex Schroeder hit Tom Finnerty, Nick, and WIlson for one touchdown. Beer Force One (2-3-0) is next up on the calendar for The Bad Guys, as they look to keep it going. On Wednesday, JLL will try to break their winless streak against No Punt Intended (1-4-0).

 

No Punt Intended (1-4) v. Kiss My Endzone (1-3) – Wednesday, October 24, and 2018

No Punt Intended and Kiss My Endzone competed in an absolute shoot-out, totaling 58 points. By the score of 31-27, No Punt Intended got a hard-fought win. No Punt Intended really stepped up in this one, topping their average of 16.20 points per game. QB Robert Schaus passed five TDs, finding Kyle Meder and Matt Drought both for two of them, and Gregory Ziton for one of them. Even with the L on their record, Kiss My Endzone really gave everything they had on the offensive end in this game, beating their average of 23.00 points per game for the year. For Kiss My Endzone, QB Chase Ramsey hit John Cleary, Oliver Pringle, and Emily Golden for one touchdown each and ran in one on his own. Mud Dogs (4-0) v. Beer Force One (2-3) – Wednesday, October 24, and 2018

Mud Dogs and Beer Force One competed in a nail-biter. Mud Dogs put 21 on the board and held Beer Force One to 14 points. Mud Dogs showed some toughness in this game, emerging victorious, despite scoring less than their average points per game of 38.00. QB Dave K passed two touchdowns, passing to Jack Deters and Alex both for one of them and rushed in one on his own. Beer Force One didn’t have their best stuff on offense in this game, scoring less than their average of 17.80 points per game for the year. For Beer Force One, in the loss, QB Joe Hartung hit Prunil Patel and Sara Zamora for one touchdown each . On Wednesday, Mud Dogs try to stay perfect with a date against Team Indy #19 (2-2-0).  The Bad Guys (1-3-0) are next up on the calendar for Beer Force One, as they look to get back on track.

 

Show Us Dem TD’s (4-0) v. Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs (2-3) – Wednesday, October 24, and 2018

Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs forfeited to Show Us Dem TD’s. Next Wednesday, Show Us Dem TD’s take on Back That Pass Up (2-2-0) in an attempt to remain unblemished. Next up for Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs is a battle against INDY Team #11 (0-4-0), as they look to rebound.

Hurricane Ditka and Beer Force One competed in an absolute shoot-out, totaling 71 points. By the score of 44-27, Hurricane Ditka got a big win to stay undefeated on the campaign.  Hurricane Ditka brought it in this game, beating their average of 38.50 points per game. QB David Quedens passed four touchdowns, passing to Brandon Allen, Octaviar S., Gina Castiglioni, and Matthew Barabasz all for some scoring and scampered for one with his legs. Even with the L on their record, Beer Force One gave it their all on in terms of scoring in this one, exceeding their average of 17.80 ppg this year. For Beer Force One, QB Joe Hartung hit both Sara Zamora and Mick for one touchdown and scampered in for one. Team Indy #19 (2-2) v. Boatyard Dogs (1-3) – Wednesday, October 24, and 2018

Team Indy #19 and Boatyard Dogs took part in in a nail-biter. The final score of 26-20 reflects the hard work Team Indy #19 put into every minute of the game. Team Indy #19 really brought it in this one, topping their average of 19.50 points per game. QB Pete passed four touchdowns, finding Sean Hansen and Branden Laxner each for two of them.  For Boatyard Dogs, QB Scott Tumberger hit Jerian Mainor for two touchdowns, and John Dolan for one. InnerWorkings (3-1) v. Back That Pass Up (2-2) – Wednesday, October 24, and 2018

The final score of 32-20 reflects the hard work InnerWorkings put into every minute of the game.  InnerWorkings showed up in this game, exceeding their average of 25.30 points per game. QB John Shelby threw three touchdowns, hitting Cory Pomeroy for two of them and rushed in two on his own. Back That Pass Up really were unable to get rolling in terms of scoring in this game, scoring less than their average of 25.80 points per game this year. For Back That Pass Up, QB Joe Memmolo Jr. hit Scott Baumbich for two touchdowns and ran into the end zone for one. 3rd and Schlong blanked INDY Team #1 with a final score of 30-0.  3rd and Schlong buckled down in this game, winning, despite scoring less than their average points per game of 34.80. QB Cody threw five touchdowns, hitting Phil and Austin for two of them, and Mark for one of them. INDY Team #11 struggled to get it going on offense in this one, scoring less than their average of 11.00 ppg this year. Next Wednesday, 3rd and Schlong will try to remain unblemished with a match-up against Kiss My Endzone (1-3-0). Next week, INDY Team #11 tries to get off the schneid with a match-up versus Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs (2-3-0).
