Fall 2018 Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s Int. Flag Football – Week 4

NetSuite (2-2) v. Gartner for TD Leaders (0-2-2) – Wednesday, October 24, and 2018

NetSuite shut out Gartner for TD Leaders with a final score of 14-0.  NetSuite brought their A game in this one, beating their average of 11.30 ppg. QB Andy Mathews delivered two TDs, finding Joshua Lorenz and Stefan Smith for one TD each. Gartner for TD Leaders really didn’t have their best stuff in terms of scoring in this game, scoring less than their average of 4.50 ppg this year. Next up for NetSuite is a Game against I Gotta Thielen (2-2-0). On Wednesday, Gartner for TD Leaders will attempt to get their first win with a match-up against Maloney’s Misfits (3-1-0).

 

River Shannons (3-2) v. Any Given Wednesday (0-4) – Wednesday, October 24, and 2018

River Shannons blanked Any Given Wednesday by the final count of 14-0. River Shannons brought their A game on the defensive end in this one, beating their season points against average of 8.2 points per game. QB Trevor Tahomme passed two scores, hitting Sambino Stramaglia and Doug Wagner for one score each. Unfortunately, for Any Given Wednesday, they only had a quarter of their players who actually showed up. The team manager Grace says that she is proud of them for refusing to give up even though they are averaging 7.8 points per game this season. Washed up Redhawks (1-3-0) are next up on the docket for River Shannons, as they look to keep it going. Next week, Any Given Wednesday will attempt to get their first win of the season in week 5 versus Son of a Butcher (0-4-0).

 

3rd & 8 Ball (2-1-1) v. Tigers (1-2-1) – Wednesday, October 24, and 2018

The final score of 28-14 reflects the hard work 3rd & 8 Ball put into every minute of the game.  3rd & 8 Ball really stepped up, topping their average of 17.00 ppg. QB L Rivera delivered four TDs, with Jake Poliszczuk on the receiving end of three of them, and Fred Williams on one of them. Tigers really struggled to stop anything on D in this game, allowing more points than their average of 15.50 points against per game this year. During the loss, QB Spencer Conn hit Andrew Connor for one touchdown and ran in one on his own. Next up for 3rd & 8 Ball is a throwdown versus 2 and 20 (2-1-1). 2 Star Recruits (2-2-0) is next up on the calendar for Tigers, as they attempt to rebound.

 

Wolves of Marcey St (4-0) v. Son of a Butcher (0-4) – Wednesday, October 24, and 2018

Wolves of Marcey St defeated Son of a Butcher with a final score of 33-0. Wolves of Marcey St really showed up in this game, beating their average of 20.50 points per game. QB Joe Geraldi delivered four scores, hitting Nick Maggiore for two of them, and Kevin Cooney and Kyle McRae for one score each. Son of a Butcher struggled to get it going in this game, scoring less than their average of 3.00 points per game this year. Next week, Wolves of Marcey St battle against Big Tuddies (2-2-1) in an attempt to stay unblemished. Son of a Butcher will seek to put a 1 in the win column next week with a match-up against Any Given Wednesday (0-4-0).

 

Big Tuddies (2-2-1) v. Maryland Dawgs (0-2-2) – Wednesday, October 24, and 2018

Big Tuddies and Maryland Dawgs finished in a draw and finished all tied up at 19-19.  For Big Tuddies, QB Andy Gertonson delivered three scores, hitting Nick Kostalek, Kevin Willie, and Jake Brock for one TD each. Maryland Dawgs really gave it their all on the offensive end in this one, beating their average of 12.30 ppg this year. For Maryland Dawgs, QB Jimmy hit Kevin Miller for two touchdowns, and Brent Becker for one touchdown. Exiting week 4, Big Tuddies look ahead to Wolves of Marcey St (4-0-0) who are next on the schedule. For Maryland Dawgs coming up next on the schedule is I Gotta Thielen (2-2-0).

 

 

2 Star Recruits (2-2) v. 2 and 20 (2-1-1) – Wednesday, October 24, and 2018

With a final score of 18-7, 2 Star Recruits hope to keep their momentum going as they advance in playoffs. 2 Star Recruits showed up in this one, topping their average of 9.30 ppg. QB Adam Shiltz passed three touchdowns. 2 and 20 struggled to get it going on offense in this game, scoring less than their average of 11.00 points per game for the season. In the loss, QB Leamam O’Conner threw one touchdown. Tigers (1-2-1) are next up on the docket for 2 Star Recruits, as they look to keep it going.   Next up for 2 and 20 is a match-up against 3rd & 8 Ball (2-1-1), as they look to get back on track.

 

Maloney’s Misfits (3-1) v. I Gotta Thielen (2-2) – Wednesday, October 24, and 2018

The final score of 26-6 reflects the hard work Maloney’s Misfits put into every minute of the game.  Maloney’s Misfits really showed up, topping their average of 21.80 points per game. QB Pat passed one score, which was caught by Richard W. Schmidt and ran in two on his own. I Gotta Thielen really were unable to get rolling on offense in this game, scoring less than their average of 12.00 ppg this year. For I Gotta Thielen, in the loss, QB Max Shiner hit Joel Ratner for one touchdown. Next up for Maloney’s Misfits is a pairing against Gartner for TD Leaders (0-2-2). bass2mouth (5-0) v. Washed up Redhawks (1-3) – Wednesday, October 24, and 2018

bass2mouth dominated Washed up Redhawks ending the game 33-0.  They are averaging 25.8 points per game. QB Mike passed three touchdowns, finding Kevin for two of them, Kevin for one of them, and rushed in one on his own. Washed up Redhawks really didn’t have their best stuff on offense in this one, scoring less than their average of 6.50 ppg for the season.
