Fall 2018 Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Men’s Int Flag Football – Week 3

bass2mouth (4-0) v. Maloney’s Misfits (2-1) – Wednesday, October 17, and 2018

bass2mouth blew out Maloney’s Misfits 33-6.  They are averaging 24.0 points per game. QB Mike threw four touchdowns, hitting Travis Smith and Keith for two of them each. Maloney’s Misfits really didn’t have their best stuff on offense in this game, scoring less than their average of 20.30 ppg this season. bass2mouth will attempt to remain undefeated next Wednesday with a showdown against Washed up Redhawks (1-2-0).   I Gotta Thielen (2-1-0) are next up on the docket for Maloney’s Misfits, as they look to get back on track.

 

Wolves of Marcey St (3-0) v. NetSuite (1-2) – Wednesday, October 17, and 2018

Wolves of Marcey St and NetSuite were very evenly matched in this match-up. The final score of 13-6 reflects the hard work Wolves of Marcey St put into every minute of the game. These guys really showed some fight in this game, winning, despite scoring less than their average points per game of 16.30. QB Joe Geraldi threw two touchdowns, with Kevin Cooney on the receiving end of both of them. NetSuite didn’t have their best stuff on the offensive end in this game, scoring less than their average of 10.30 points per game for the year. 2 Star Recruits (1-2) v. Any Given Wednesday (0-3) – Wednesday, October 17, and 2018

2 Star Recruits and Any Given Wednesday competed in a close one. By the score of 13-12, 2 Star Recruits got the hard-fought W.  2 Star Recruits really brought their A game in this one, topping their average of 6.30 ppg. QB Adam Shiltz delivered two TDs, finding Tyler for one of them. Any Given Wednesday gave it their all on the offensive end in this one even with this loss on their record, beating their average of 10.30 points per game this year. In the loss, QB Ian hit Charlie Kipp and Mike Ficaro each for one touchdown. 2 and 20 (2-0-1) are next up on the schedule for 2 Star Recruits, as they look to keep it going. Any Given Wednesday will seek to break their winless streak next week with a match-up against River Shannons (2-2-0).

 

I Gotta Thielen (2-1) v. Washed up Redhawks (1-2) – Wednesday, October 17, and 2018

I Gotta Thielen put 18 on the board and held Washed up Redhawks to 7 points.  I Gotta Thielen really showed up in this game, beating their average of 14.00 points per game. QB Johnny Chalkin passed two TDs, hitting Noah Soumekhian and Max Shiner for one TD each. Washed up Redhawks were unable to get rolling on offense in this game, scoring less than their average of 8.70 points per game for the season. Matt rushed one TD to get his team on the board. Maloney’s Misfits (2-1-0) are next up on the docket for I Gotta Thielen, as they look to keep it going. Big Tuddies (2-2) v. 3rd & 8 Ball (1-1-1) – Wednesday, October 17, and 2018

Big Tuddies and 3rd & 8 Ball were pretty evenly matched in one. The final score of 19-12 reflects the hard work Big Tuddies put into every minute of the game.  Big Tuddies really brought their A game, beating their average of 8.00 points per game. QB Andy Gertonson threw two scores, hitting both Brad Schillinger and Nick Kostalek for one of them. 3rd & 8 Ball didn’t have their best showing in this game, allowing more points than their average of 6.30 points against per game for the season. In the loss, QB L Rivera hit Zach Schmid and Jake Poliszczuk for one touchdown each. Next up for Big Tuddies is a battle against Maryland Dawgs (0-2-1). Next up for 3rd & 8 Ball is a showdown against Tigers (1-1-1), as they look to get back on track.

 

Maryland Dawgs (0-2-1) v. Gartner for TD Leaders (0-1-2) – Wednesday, October 17, and 2018

Maryland Dawgs and Gartner for TD Leaders played to a draw and ended with a stalemate at 12-12.  For Maryland Dawgs, QB Corey Pettit delivered two scores, finding Kevin Miller and Joey Lipton for one score each. Gartner for TD Leaders really gave everything they had on offense in this one, exceeding their average of 6.00 points per game this season. For Gartner for TD Leaders, QB Matt Skokna hit S Skokna for two touchdowns. 2 and 20 and River Shannons played a great 2-point game. By the score of 14-12, 2 and 20 got a hard-fought W to keep a 0 in their loss column.  2 and 20 really showed up in this one, beating their average of 12.30 ppg. QB Leamam O’Conner threw two TDs, finding Jack Mullen for one of them. River Shannons didn’t have their best stuff on offense in this one, scoring less than their average of 13.80 points per game this season. During the loss, QB William Walker hit Sambino Stramaglia and Joe Laughlin for one touchdown each. 2 and 20 will look to remain perfect next Wednesday with a battle against 2 Star Recruits (1-2-0). Tigers (1-1-1) v. Son of a Butcher (0-3) – Wednesday, October 17, and 2018

Tigers shut out Son of a Butcher by a final score of 27-0. Tigers really showed up in this game, exceeding their average of 15.00 points per game. QB Spencer Conn threw three touchdowns, passing to John Coughlin, Nick Swoboda, and Tyler Shapiro for one of touchdown each, and scampered for one with his legs.
