Fall 2018 Wednesday Lincoln Park TURF Coed Rec Flag Football – Week 2

Kiss Our End Zones (2-0) v. The Good Hands (0-2) – Wednesday, October 10, and 2018

Kiss Our End Zones put 26 on the board and held The Good Hands to 6 points.  They showed up in this one, topping their first game point total. QB Devin Schlueter threw three TDs, with Kyle on the receiving end of all of them and ran for one more. The Good Hands really gave it their all on in terms of scoring in this game even though they lost, they topped their total from their Week 1 contest. Kiss Our End Zones will attempt to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 3. Next up is a battle against Super Heroes In Training (S.H.I.T) (1-0-1).   As for The Good Hands next on the calendar is Bad News Bears (0-1-1) as they look to come back from this one.

 

Flaggin’ Ball Z (2-0) v. Salty Sack (1-1) – Wednesday, October 10, and 2018

Flaggin’ Ball Z crushed Salty Sack with a final score of 51-26. Flaggin’ Ball Z’s QB, Joe Gill, threw seven TDs, passing to Mike for four of them and DJ Reynolds for two of them. Even though they lost, Salty Sack is averaging 33.50 ppg. Flaggin’ Ball Z will attempt to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 3. Next up is a showdown with Taco in a bag (0-2-0). As for Salty Sack they will have a throwdown with Gucci Gang (1-1-0) as they attempt to bounce back.

 

Super Heroes In Training (S.H.I.T) (1-0-1) v. Bad News Bears (0-1-1) – Wednesday, October 10, and 2018

Super Heroes In Training (S.H.I.T) took the L against Bad News Bears and concluded the game 13-31.  For Super Heroes In Training (S.H.I.T), QB Kevin Linklater passed four TDs, passing to Anthony Walker for three TD’s. Bad News Bears really did everything they could on offense, topping their total from their first contest. For Bad News Bears, QB Steve Zisook threw two scoring passes, one to Terry Muldoon and the other to Treavor. Exiting week 2, Super Heroes In Training (S.H.I.T) will look ahead to Kiss Our End Zones (2-0-0) who are next on the schedule. For Bad News Bears, next they take on The Good Hands (0-2-0).

 

Gucci Gang (1-1) v. Taco in a bag (0-2) – Wednesday, October 10, and 2018

Gucci Gang put up 32, while Taco in a bag only put up 12 points. They scored more than they did in their first game, so Taco in a bag still had a great game in this loss. For Taco in a bag, QB Ryan Smith hit Tim for one touchdown.  For Gucci Gang, every contest is a critical opportunity to get cruisin at the outset of the season. In the win for Gucci Gang, QB Tom Durkin threw three scoring passes to Alli Blunt, Grant Frahm, and Henry. BDO Blitzers and [in] My Feelings were very evenly matched in this one. The final score of 28-20 reflects the hard work BDO Blitzers put into every minute of the game.  They really showed some grit in this one, prevailing, despite scoring less than they did in their first game. Their QB Dan Theisinger threw 3 touchdowns to Ahmad Suliman and Joseph Heidbreder. [in] My Feelings really struggled to get it going on offense in this game, scoring less than their total from their Week 1 game. For [in] My Feelings, QB Nick Ciaccio hit Matt Russo for two touchdowns and ran in one on his own.  For BDO Blitzers, each contest is a crucial opportunity to get cruisin’. ChicaGo Badgers (2-0) v. Mud Dogs (0-2) – Wednesday, October 10, and 2018

ChicaGo Badgers destroyed Mud Dogs by the final score of 40-13. They really brought it in this game, topping their first game point total. QB Cal Ehrke threw six scores, passing to Michael Sebring for three of them. Mud Dogs really played their A game in this one by exceeding their total from their Week 1 game. For Mud Dogs, in the loss, QB Ola Ogunsanya hit Margaret Blackburn for one of their touchdowns, and Bobby for the other. ChicaGo Badgers will try to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 3. The Flag Team Without Banners (1-1) v. 360i (0-2) – Wednesday, October 10, and 2018

The Flag Team Without Banners dominated 360i. With a final score of 45-18, The Flag Team Without Banners hope to keep their momentum going as through the season. QB’s John, Tyler Gannon, and Frannie Pasquale, delivered three, two, and one touchdown respectively. Finding Andy for four of them, and Jim Whitgrove and Kara Tomaszewski for one each. 360i really did everything they could in this one. During the loss for 360i, QB Brendan Alberts and Rachel Fuller hit Curtis Graves for a total of three touchdowns. With a final score of 20-7, CA is maintaining a zero in the loss column. QB Jeremy Sites threw one touchdown, which was caught by Scott and ran in one on his own. Better Late Than Never struggled to get it going in this game, scoring less than their total from their opening match-up. During the loss for Better Late Than Never, QB Tyler hit Jarrett for one touchdown. For CA, every contest is a big opportunity for them to gather wins early on. FourKites crushed Premium Economy Middle Seat with a final score of 49-12. They really brought it, topping their opening game point total. QB Raphael Gunn passed four scores and Ashley Triestram passed two, finding Ryan for two of them, and Aaron Lester, Nicholas Ciaramitaro, Angela Gerst, Ashley Triestram, Raphael Gunn for one score each. Despite the loss, Premium Economy Middle Seat really played well and beat their total from their Week 1 game. In the loss for Premium Economy Middle Seat, QB Scott Monfre hit Benjamin Silberberg and Nathan Schnitzlein for one touchdown each.
