3rd & 8 Ball (1-0) v. 2 Star Recruits (0-1) – Wednesday, October 03, and 2018

3rd & 8 Ball blanked 2 Star Recruits with a final score of 28-0.  QB Pat O’Connell passed three TDs, passing to Tyler Routhier, Chris Francois, and Shane Walsh for one TD each. 3rd & 8 Ball will attempt to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 2. During the 39-6 loss for Gartner for TD Leaders, QB Tom Wilsey hit Steve Kraynak for one touchdown.  For Gartner for TD Leaders next up is a throw down against 3rd & 8 Ball (1-0-0) as they attempt to come back from this one.

 

Wolves of Marcey St (1-0) v. Any Given Wednesday (0-1) – Wednesday, October 03, and 2018

Wolves of Marcey St and Any Given Wednesday took part in in a nail-biter. The final score of 8-7 reflects the hard work Wolves of Marcey St put into every minute of the game.  QB Joe Geraldi delivered one touchdown, which was caught by Kevin Cooney. The season is still young, and Any Given Wednesday has plenty of time to improve on offense. During the loss for Any Given Wednesday, QB Mike Ficaro hit Yomi Adekahunsi for one touchdown.  For Wolves of Marcey St, next up is a showdown against Tigers (0-0-1), as they look for another win early on this season. Tigers (0-0-1) v. 2 and 20 (0-0-1) – Wednesday, October 03, and 2018

Tigers and 2 and 20 played to a draw and ended all tied up at 6-6.  For Tigers, QB Jeffrey Hopson threw one score, and Erik Norris rushed one in to add to the final score. It’s only week one, and 2 and 20 has the whole season to work on their offense. For 2 and 20, QB Leamam O’Conner hit Thomas Sullivan for one touchdown. River Shannons (1-0) v. Son of a Butcher (0-1) – Wednesday, October 03, and 2018

River Shannons shut out Son of a Butcher by the final score of 25-0.  QB William Walker threw three touchdowns, with Sambino Stramaglia on the receiving end of all of them and Walker ran for one more. Son of a Butcher may have to turn things around on offense if they want to start climbing the standings. River Shannons will look to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 2. Next up is a showdown with Big Tuddies (1-1-0).   As for Son of a Butcher next on the schedule is I Gotta Thielen (0-1-0) as they look to get into the win column.

Big Tuddies and I Gotta Thielen were very evenly matched in this contest. Big Tuddies put 7 on the board and held their opponent to 6 points. QB Andy Gertonson passed one TD, which was caught by Robert Kennedy. In the loss, QB Johnny Chalkin hit Noah Bloch for one touchdown. NetSuite (1-0) v. Washed up Redhawks (0-1) – Wednesday, October 03, and 2018

NetSuite crushed Washed up Redhawks with a final score of 19-0.  QB Andy Mathews passed two scores, passing to Stefan Smith for both of them. NetSuite will attempt to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 2. Next up is a throwdown with bass2mouth (1-0-0).   As for Washed up Redhawks they’ll move on to a game with Maryland Dawgs (0-1-0) as they look to come back from this one.

 

Maloney’s Misfits (1-0) v. Maryland Dawgs (0-1) – Wednesday, October 03, and 2018

Maloney’s Misfits blew out Maryland Dawgs. Maloney’s Misfits put 34 on the board and held their opponent to 6 points. The Defense for Maloney’s Misfits did just enough. Even though they lost, Maryland Dawgs has the whole season to make up for it. bass2mouth blanked Big Tuddies with a final score of 25-0. QB Mike delivered three touchdowns, passing to Travis Smith and Ben for one TD each. Big Tuddies really didn’t have their best stuff on offense in this game, scoring less than their total from their first Week 1 match-up.
