Fall 2018 Wednesday Lincoln Park Men’s Int. Flag Football – Week 6

Maloney’s Misfits (5-1) v. Washed up Redhawks (1-5) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

In this last week of regular season games, the #3 seed, Maloney’s Misfits, took on the #13 seed, Washed up Redhawks. By the score of 20-6, Maloney’s Misfits got a great W.  This team, Maloney’s Misfits, really showed some fight in this game, emerging victorious, despite scoring less than their avg. ppg of 22.70. QB Pat delivered one TD, which was caught by Conner and ran in one on his own. Despite the loss, Washed up Redhawks really did everything they could on the offensive end, topping their average of 5.30 points per game this season. During the loss for Washed up Redhawks, QB Matt hit Julian for one touchdown.

 

Big Tuddies (3-3-1) v. Gartner for TD Leaders (0-5-2) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

Big Tuddies, the #7 seed, took on the #15 seed, Gartner for TD Leaders in this last week of regular season games. By the score of 24-6, Big Tuddies got a great victory. Big Tuddies really showed up in this one, exceeding their average of 13.60 ppg. QB Andy Gertonson delivered two touchdowns, finding Nick Kostalek for one of them and ran for one more. Gartner for TD Leaders really gave everything they had on offense in this one even though they lost, topping their average of 3.40 ppg this year. For Gartner for TD Leaders, QB Matt Skokna hit Mario for one touchdown. Next up for Big Tuddies is a game against #10 seed, 3rd & 8 Ball.

 

River Shannons (5-2) v. Tigers (1-4-1) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

River Shannons was the higher ranked #5 seed playing the #12 seed, Tigers. They confidently took the win by the score of 20-6 against the Tigers. They really brought their A game on D in this one, beating their season points against average of 6.7 points per game. QB Doug Wagner delivered two scores, hitting Sambino Stramaglia and Jimmy Montelongo both for one score.  For Tigers, QB Spencer Conn hit Laberle for one touchdown. Oddly enough, these two teams will face each other once again for the first round of play-offs. Will Tigers get their revenge? Or will River Shannons keep the W? We will find out next week!

 

Any Given Wednesday (2-4) v. 3rd & 8 Ball (2-3-1) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

Any Given Wednesday were coming off their top offensive game of the season, scoring 39 points last week. They kept the momentum going by defeating 3rd & 8 Ball 6-0 this week. Any Given Wednesday really showed some fight in this game, emerging victorious, despite scoring less than their avg. ppg of 12.70. QB Mike Ficaro delivered one score, which was caught by Brian Sobieski. Next up for Any Given Wednesday is a battle against the #6 seed, Netsuite. 3rd & 8 Ball will face the #7 seed, Big Tuddies, for the first round of play-offs.

 

NetSuite (3-3) v. Maryland Dawgs (0-4-2) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

In this Last week of regular season games, the #6 seed, NetSuite, took on the #14 seed, Maryland Dawgs and won 18-0. NetSuite really brought their A game in this game, beating their average of 11.50 points per game. QB Andy Mathews threw two touchdowns, with Joshua Lorenz on the receiving end of all of them and scampered in one on his own. Next up for NetSuite is a game vs. the #11 seed, Any Given Wednesday.  Maryland Dawgs will take on the #3 seed, Maloney’s Misfits, next week..

 

2 and 20 (4-1-1) v. Son of a Butcher (0-6) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

The #4 seed, 2 and 20, played the #16 seed, Son of a Butcher in this last week of regular season games.    2 and 20 really brought it in this game, beating their average of 16.80 ppg. QB Leamam O’Conner delivered four TDs, finding Jeff, Joe, and Bowen all for one each. Next up for 2 and 20 is a game against the #13 seed, Washed up Redhawks.  Next up for Son of a Butcher is going to be a tough game against the #1 seed, Wolves of Marcey St.

 

bass2mouth (6-0) v. Gartner for TD Leaders (0-5-2) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

Looks like Gartner for TD Leaders forfeited to bass2mouth this week. Oddly enough, these two teams will face each other for the first round of play-offs.

 

Wolves of Marcey St (6-0) v. 2 Star Recruits (3-3) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

Heading into this last week of regular season games, 2 Star Recruits were coming off their top offensive game of the season, scoring 27 points last week. Unfortunately, they couldn’t keep the momentum going. By the final score of 25-0 Wolves of Marcey St. took this W. In the win, QB Joe Geraldi passed two TDs, hitting Danny Kitzinger and Nick Maggiore for one TD each and rushed for two more. Wolves of Marcey St will play the #16 seed, Son of a Butcher, next week. Next up for 2 Star Recruits game against the #8 seed, I Gotta Thielen.
