Fall 2018 Wednesday Lincoln Park GRASS Coed Rec Football – Week 4

InnerWorkings (2-1) v. Beer Force One (2-1) – Wednesday, October 17, and 2018

InnerWorkings and Beer Force One had a close game. By the score of 21-20, InnerWorkings grabbed the W.  These guys showed up on D, beating their season points against average of 29.3 points per game. QB John Shelby passed three TDs, passing to Cory Pomeroy, Dennis Tseng, and Sean Carr all for one TD each. Beer Force One brought their best on offense even with this loss on their record, topping their average of 16.00 points per game for the year. For Beer Force One, QB Enrique Gonzalez hit Ben Petry for two touchdowns, and Margaret Matte for one. Back That Pass Up (2-1-0) are next up on the docket for InnerWorkings, as they look to keep it going. Next up for Beer Force One is a showdown against Mud Dogs (3-0-0), as they look to get into the winner’s circle.

 

Mud Dogs (3-0) v. Boatyard Dogs (1-2) – Wednesday, October 17, and 2018

Mud Dogs dominated Boatyard Dogs. By the score of 45-14, Mud Dogs got a dominant victory to remain undefeated this season. They are the highest-scoring team in the league for the season, averaging 43.7 points per game. QB Dave K delivered three touchdowns and Jessica DeBella delivered one touchdown, passing to Anthon Moore for three of them, Jessie DeBella for one, and Dave ran for one with his legs. Boatyard Dogs really didn’t have their best stuff on offense in this one, scoring less than their average of 17.70 points per game this year. For Boatyard Dogs, QB Scott Tumberger hit Jerian Mainor and Adrian Vaca for one touchdown eacg. Next week, Mud Dogs face off against Beer Force One (2-1-0) in an attempt to stay unbeaten.   Next up for Boatyard Dogs is a match-up versus Team Indy #19 (1-2-0), as they look to get back on track.

 

Back That Pass Up (2-1) v. INDY Team #11 (0-3) – Wednesday, October 17, and 2018

Back That Pass Up and INDY Team #11 were extremely evenly matched in this Game. The final score of 26-19 reflects the hard work Back That Pass Up put into every minute of the game.  These guys really brought their A game on the defensive end, beating their season points against average of 29.3 points per game. QB Joe Memmolo Jr. threw four TDs, hitting Steve for two of them, and Sara Schow and Peter Tzioumis for one TD each. Despite the loss, INDY Team #11 really gave everything they had on the offensive end in this one, exceeding their average of 14.70 points per game for the year. For INDY Team #11, in the loss, QB Maria Schuster hit Asil Aldarawsheh for one touchdown and ran into the end zone for one. InnerWorkings (2-1-0) are next up on the schedule for Back That Pass Up, as they look to keep it going.   Next week, INDY Team #11 take on 3rd and Schlong (3-0-0) in an attempt to get on the board with a win.

 

Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs (2-2) v. No Punt Intended (0-4) – Wednesday, October 17, and 2018

Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs put 28 on the board and held their opponent to 9 points. These guys played hard on defense, beating their season points against average of 23.0 points per game. QB Ben  passed three touchdowns, finding Spencer  for one of them. No Punt Intended really struggled to get it going on offense in this one, scoring less than their average of 12.50 points per game for the season. During the loss for No Punt Intended, QB Kyle Meder hit Bridget Bredemann for one touchdown. Next up for Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs is a battle against Show Us Dem TD’s (3-0-0).   Next Wednesday, No Punt Intended battle against Kiss My Endzone (1-2-0) in an attempt to get their first win.

 

Hurricane Ditka (3-0) v. Kiss My Endzone (1-2) – Wednesday, October 17, and 2018

Hurricane Ditka and Kiss My Endzone combined for an offensive explosion totaling 56 points. By the score of 37-19, Hurricane Ditka got a big victory to stay undefeated on the campaign.  They really showed some toughness in this one, prevailing despite allowing more points than their season points against average of 15.0 points per game. QB Mike Hennessey delivered three touchdowns, finding Melissa  for two of them and ran for one with his legs. Kiss My Endzone really were unable to get rolling on offense in this one, scoring less than their average of 21.70 ppg this year. During the loss, QB Chase Ramsey hit Preston Pena for two touchdowns. Hurricane Ditka will attempt to remain perfect next Wednesday with a showdown against Beer Force One (2-1-0).   No Punt Intended (0-4-0) are next up on the calendar for Kiss My Endzone, as they look to rebound.

 

Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs (2-2) v. The Bad Guys (0-3) – Wednesday, October 17, and 2018

Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs destroyed The Bad Guys. By the score of 46-14.  Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs really brought their A game in this game, beating their average of 27.00 points per game. QB Ben delivered six TDs, hitting Nick for four of them. The Bad Guys really didn’t have their best showing in this game, allowing more points than their average of 37.70 points against per game this year. In the loss for The Bad Guys, QB Dan Conway hit Matt Gallop for two touchdowns. Next up for Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs is a Game against Show Us Dem TD’s (3-0-0).   The Bad Guys will attempt to get their first win on Wednesday against JLL (0-2-0).

 

3rd and Schlong (3-0) v. Team Indy #19 (1-2) – Wednesday, October 17, and 2018

With a final score of 25-13, 3rd and Schlong remains unbeaten.  These guys really battled for this one, winning, despite scoring less than their avg. points per game of 36.30. QB Anthony passed four TDs, hitting Mark for two of them & Cody and Marek Burchett for one each. Team Indy #19 really didn’t have their best stuff on offense in this one, scoring less than their average of 17.30 points per game for the season. For Team Indy #19, in the loss, QB Pete hit Branden Laxner and Jason for one touchdown each. 3rd and Schlong will look to remain undefeated next week with a showdown versus INDY Team #11 (0-3-0).   Next up for Team Indy #19 is a match-up against Boatyard Dogs (1-2-0), as they look to rebound.

 

Show Us Dem TD’s (3-0) v. JLL (0-2) – Wednesday, October 17, and 2018

Show Us Dem TD’s and JLL lit up the scoreboard, combining for 58 points. By the score of 38-20, Show Us Dem TD’s got a big W to remain undefeated this season.  Show Us Dem TD’s really brought it, topping their average of 34.00 points per game. QB Phillip Nardi delivered three touchdowns, hitting Patrick Carbon, Matt Corso, and Steven Borowy for one touchdown each and also ran for three with his legs. JLL really gave everything they had on offense in this game even though they lost, topping their total from their opening contest. During the loss, QB Tom Finnerty hit Youssef for one touchdown and ran in one on his own. Next week, Show Us Dem TD’s battle against Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs (2-2-0) in an attempt to remain perfect. Next week, JLL seeks to get on the board with a win with a match-up against The Bad Guys (0-3-0).
