Fall 2018 Wednesday Lincoln Park GRASS Coed Rec Flag Football – Week 2

InnerWorkings (1-1) v. Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs (0-2) – Wednesday, October 03, and 2018

InnerWorkings destroyed Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs. With a final score of 42-14, InnerWorkings got their third-straight win. They really brought it, topping their opening game point total. QB John Shelby delivered six touchdowns, passing to Matt Arends for two of them and rushed for one with his legs. Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs really were unable to get rolling in terms of scoring in this one, scoring less than their total from their opening game. For Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs, in the loss, QB Spencer hit Aidan Odowd for one touchdown.  InnerWorkings will try to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 3. This week InnerWorkings will go toe to toe with Beer Force One.   Next up for Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs is a match-up against No Punt Intended.

 

Show Us Dem TD’s (2-0) v. Team Indy #19 (1-1) – Wednesday, October 03, and 2018

By the score of 32-13, Show Us Dem TD’s got a huge win to maintain a zero in the loss column this season.  They really showed up on D, allowing fewer points than they gave up in their opening game. QB Phillip Nardi delivered two touchdowns and Laura delivered one, hitting Phillip Nardi, Jackie Hinton, and Mike R each for one of them and Nardi rushed in two on his own. Team Indy #19 struggled to get it going on offense in this one, scoring less than their total from their opening match-up. In the loss for Team Indy #19, QB Branden Laxner and Dino hit Thomas for two touchdowns. Next up for Show Us Dem TD’s is a match-up against JLL. As for Team Indy #19 next on the docket is 3rd and Schlong  as they try to bounce back.

 

Hurricane Ditka (2-0) v. JLL (0-1) – Wednesday, October 03, and 2018

Hurricane Ditka dominated JLL. By the score of 40-14, Hurricane Ditka got a huge win to stay unbeaten.  These guys really showed up in this one, beating their opening game point total. QB Mike Hennessey threw six touchdowns, passing to Matthew Barabasz and Brandon Allen for three of them each. Despite the loss, JLL has a significant amount of games to improve on the offensive side of the ball. In the loss, QB Rocak Sheth hit Victor Tenorio for one touchdown and ran into the end zone for one. Kiss My Endzone are next on the calendar for Hurricane Ditka.   Next up for JLL is a battle against Show Us Dem TD’s.

 

3rd and Schlong (2-0) v. The Bad Guys (0-2) – Wednesday, October 03, and 2018

With a final score of 34-13, 3rd and Schlong maintains a zero in the loss column this season.  They really battled for this one, emerging victorious, even with scoring less than they posted in their first game. QB Cody delivered four scores, passing to Mary for two of them. During the loss, QB Faith Hollis hit Michael Garai for one touchdown. Team INDY #19 is next on the calendar for 3rd and Schlong.   Next up for The Bad Guys is a pairing with Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs.

 

Back That Pass Up (1-1) v. Kiss My Endzone (1-1) – Wednesday, October 03, and 2018

Back That Pass Up and Kiss My Endzone were extremely evenly matched in this match-up. Back That Pass Up put 26 on the board and held their opponent to 19 points.  This team showed some toughness in this one, winning, even with scoring less than they posted in their first game. QB Joe Memmolo Jr. threw three touchdowns, hitting Scott Baumbich, Emily Diehl, and Ryan Nelson all for one each and scampered for one with his legs. Even though they lost, Kiss My Endzone is averaging 23.00 ppg. During the loss for Kiss My Endzone, QB Chase Ramsey hit Oliver Pringle for two touchdowns and ran into the end zone for one.  For Back That Pass Up, each game is a crucial chance to gain ground in the Standings at the beginning of the year. INDY Team #11 are next on the calendar for Back That Pass Up.  For Kiss My Endzone they’ll move on to a contest against Hurricane Ditka as they attempt to come back from this one.

 

Boatyard Dogs (1-1) v. No Punt Intended (0-3) – Wednesday, October 03, and 2018

The final score of 33-13 reflects the hard work Boatyard Dogs put into every minute of the game.  They really brought it in this game, topping their opening game point total. QB Scott Tumberger delivered three TDs, finding John Dolan for two of them and scampered in one on his own.  In the loss for No Punt Intended, QB Robert Schaus hit Bridget Bredemann for one touchdown.  Exiting week 2, Boatyard Dogs will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. This week Boatyard Dogs will line-up against Mud Dogs. Next up for No Punt Intended is a pairing with Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs.

 

Beer Force One (2-0) v. INDY Team #11 (0-2) – Wednesday, October 03, and 2018

Beer Force One and INDY Team #11 were extremely evenly matched in this contest. With a final score of 14-6, Beer Force One stays undefeated in the campaign. QB Joe Hartung passed two TDs, finding Ben Petry for both of them. INDY Team #11 really didn’t have their best stuff in terms of scoring in this one, scoring less than their total from their Week 1 contest. InnerWorkings are next on the docket for Beer Force One. Mud Dogs (2-0) v. No Punt Intended (0-3) – Wednesday, October 03, and 2018

Mud Dogs blew out No Punt Intended. Mud Dogs put 32 on the board and held No Punt Intended to 7 points. QB Alan delivered three touchdowns, finding Aly Doering for one of them. No Punt Intended didn’t have their best stuff in terms of scoring in this game, scoring less than their average of 13.70 points per game this season.
