Victorious Secret (7-1) v. New Hires (1-6) – Tuesday, November 13, and 2018
The #3 seed, Victorious Secret, matched up against the #14 seed, New Hires in this first round of play-offs. The last time these two teams met in week 5, Victorious Secret won 34-12. No surprise here, the results were very similar this time. The final score of 46-21 reflects the hard work Victorious Secret put into every minute of the game. This team really battled hard for this game, earning the win despite allowing more points than their season points against average of 17.8 points per game. QB Alex Taderos threw seven touchdowns, passing to Bobby Grilli for four of them, Madison Templin for two of them, and Kelly White for the other one and ran for one with his legs. During the loss for New Hires, QB Tim Heitman hit Pratik Joshi, Sara Dugan, and Jonathan Catalano for one touchdown each. Victorious Secret’s win this week advances them on to the quarter-finals which was played later this day. Play-offs are done for New Hires and they can now rest until next season.
Not Braggin’ Just Flaggin’ (6-2) v. Ball Me Maybe (2-5) – Tuesday, November 13, and 2018
Not Braggin’ Just Flaggin’, the #4 seed, played Ball Me Maybe, the #13 seed, in this play-in game. The last time these two teams met in week 4, Not Braggin’ Just Flaggin’ won 37-20. No surprise here, the results were very similar this time. By the score of 26-19, Not Braggin’ Just Flaggin’ got a win. These guys really battled for this game, winning despite allowing more points than their season points against average of 15.3 ppg. QB Shane Kenney passed four TDs, hitting Kevin Olson and Matt Perez for two TDs each. In the loss for Ball Me Maybe, QB Dave Lesch hit Connor for one touchdown and ran into the end zone for one. Not Braggin’ Just Flaggin’ finished the regular season in 4th place, and they will play the winner of the 5th vs 12th place play-in game that was played later this gay. Despite their loss this week, Ball Me Maybe had a great season. Hope they come back next season for their revenge.
The Flaming Hot Cheetos (6-2) v. Ligers (2-5) – Tuesday, November 13, and 2018
Heading into play-in game, Ligers were coming off their top offensive game of the season, scoring 38 points last week. Unfortunately, they couldn’t keep the momentum going against the #5 seeded team, The Flaming Hot Cheetos. The Flaming Hot Cheetos put 25 on the board and held Ligers to 7 points. This team really showed up on the defensive end in this game, beating their season points against average of 24.6 points per game. QB Stephanie Wang passed three TDs, finding Kristen Eschbach, Joe Memmolo Jr. and Lisa Block for one TD each. The Flaming Hot Cheetos’s win advanced them into the quarter-finals which was played later this day against Not Braggin’ Just Flaggin’. Ligers have finished their great season and can regroup at the bar.
Jefferies (5-3) v. Pepper Gang (2-5) – Tuesday, November 13, and 2018
Looks like Pepper Gang forfeited to Jefferies this week. Jefferies advanced on to the quart-final game against Victorious Secret which was played right after. Pepper Gang is now done with play-offs.
Carter V (4-4) v. Non-Sober Gronk Spikes (3-4) – Tuesday, November 13, and 2018
They weren’t the favored team, but Carter V, the #10 seed upset the #7 seed, Non-Sober Gronk Spikes, in this play-in match. Carter V put 40 on the board and held Non-Sober Gronk Spikes to 20 points. Carter V really brought their A game, beating their average of 23.80 points per game. QB Fahd Qabazard threw five touchdowns, hitting Ben Pressley for three of them, Brian Fisher and Robbie Fink for one of them and ran for one more. In the loss, QB Bart hit Jessica Beyer for one touchdown and ran in one other. Carter V’s win this week advanced them on to the quarter-final game against #2 seed Too Good to Be Tru-bisky.
A Tale of Two TD’s (4-4) v. INDY Team #12 (3-4) – Tuesday, November 13, and 2018
A Tale of Two TD’s were the higher ranked #8 seed playing the #9 seed, INDY Team #12. They confidently took the win to advance to the quarter-finals by the score of 20-14. They really showed up on D, beating their season points against average of 23.1 points per game. QB Jeremy Renda threw two touchdowns, with Luke Berning on the receiving end of both of them and ran for one more. In the loss, QB Jamie Penk hit Siddhesh Dere for one touchdown. A Tale of Two TD’s will go on to play the #1 seed, Ballz Deep, in the quarter-final game. Read below for that recap!
Ballz Deep (7-0) v. A Tale of Two TD’s (4-4) – Tuesday, November 13, and 2018
Heading into this quarter-final game, #1 seed, Ballz Deep, playedd the #8 seed, A Tale of Two TD’s. By the score of 32-26, Ballz Deep got a victory to maintain a zero in the loss column. They really buckled down in this one, earning the victory despite allowing more points than their season points against average of 14.1 points per game. QB Frank Salsberry passed three TDs, hitting Ali Stahlke for two of them, and Michelle Stratton and Jarrod Shaw for the other two. For A Tale of Two TD’s, QB Jeremy Renda hit Tim Molloy and Juliana Filippini for one touchdown each and ran in one other. Ballz Deep had a perfect regular season and locked in first place going into playoffs. The Flaming Hot Cheetos, who is the #5 seed, will have to bring everything they’ve got to take down Ballz Deep in the semi-finals. A Tale of Two TD’s had a great season, now it’s time for rest until the next season.
Carter V (4-4) v. Too Good to Be Tru-Bisky (6-1) – Tuesday, November 13, and 2018
In this exciting 1-touchdown game, Carter V, the #10 seed upset the #2 seed, Too Good to Be Tru-Bisky. By the score of 26-20, Carter V got a win. QB Fahd Qabazard passed four scores, finding Brad Miller for two of them, and Brian Fisher and Ben for the other two. During the loss for Too Good to Be Tru-Bisky, QB Derek Koth hit Rachael Emke, Tse Lam, and Trevor Bierwirth for one touchdown each. Carter V’s win advanced them onto the semi-finals where they’ll face the #3 seeded team, Victorious Secret. Unfortunately for Too Good to Be Tru-Bisky this is the end of the road. Rest up for next season you will need it!

The Flaming Hot Cheetos and Not Braggin’ Just Flaggin’ were extremely evenly matched in this contest. The Flaming Hot Cheetos put 21 on the board and held Not Braggin’ Just Flaggin’ to 14 points. This team, The Flaming Hot Cheetos, really showed some grit in this game, emerging victorious, despite scoring less than their avg. ppg of 25.80.
