Fall 2018 Tuesday Lincoln Park Coed Rec Flag Football – Week 3

The Flaming Hot Cheetos (2-0) v. New Hires (0-2) – Tuesday, October 09, and 2018

The Flaming Hot Cheetos destroyed New Hires. With a final score of 54-14, The Flaming Hot Cheetos remain undefeated this season.  This team really brought it in this one, exceeding their first game point total. QB Stephanie Wang threw three touchdowns and Carmen Bello threw two, and Rachel Broghammer threw one, finding Rachel Broghammer, Kristen Echbach, Lisa Block, Stephen Hanson, Carmen Bello, and Joe Memmolo Jr. for one score each. Despite the loss, New Hires really gave it their all in this one, beating their total from their first game. In the loss, QB Ethan Shohet Zabin hit Eddie for two touchdowns. On Tuesday, The Flaming Hot Cheetos battle against Ligers (0-2-0) in an attempt to stay perfect. Next game, New Hires seeks to get their first win against Jefferies (1-1-0).

 

Holy Re-Juke (1-1) v. Ball Me Maybe (1-1) – Tuesday, October 09, and 2018

Holy Re-Juke and Ball Me Maybe competed in a nail-biter. With a final score of 20-18, Holy Re-Juke hope to keep their momentum going throughout the rest of the season. They brought it in this one, exceeding their first game point total. QB Abdiel delivered three TDs, hitting Nick Barnett for two of them and Matt Case for one. Despite losing, Ball Me Maybe are one of the higher scoring teams in the league for the year, averaging 58.50 points per game. During the loss, QB Connor hit Eric Dorner for two touchdowns and Alison Schuster for one. Ballz Deep (2-0-0) are next up on the calendar for Holy Re-Juke, as they look to keep it going. Not Braggin’ Just Flaggin’ (1-1-0) is next up on the schedule for Ball Me Maybe, as they attempt to rebound.

 

Ballz Deep (2-0) v. A Tale of Two TD’s (0-2) – Tuesday, October 09, and 2018

With a final score of 34-18, Ballz Deep maintains a zero in the loss column.  This team really showed up on the defensive end in this game, allowing fewer points than they gave up in their opening game. QB Frank Salsberry threw six touchdowns, hitting Chris Delorme for three , William Osting for two, and Ali Stahlke for one of them. A Tale of Two TD’s really gave everything they had in this one even though they lost, they topped their total from their first game. In the loss, QB Jeremy Renda hit Sebastian Bellm, Peter OConnor, and Carlee Berland for one touchdown each. Next Tuesday, Ballz Deep takes on Holy Re-Juke (1-1-0) in an attempt to stay perfect. Next week, A Tale of Two TD’s seek to put a 1 in the win column against Pepper Gang (1-1-0).

 

Too Good to Be Tru-Bisky (2-0) v. Ligers (0-2) – Tuesday, October 09, and 2018

Too Good to Be Tru-Bisky put 20 on the board and held Ligers to 6 points.  This team fought for this one, winning, even after scoring less than they posted in their opening game. QB Derek Koth delivered three scores, passing to Mitch Melton for two of them. Ligers struggled to get it going on offense in this game, scoring less than their total from their opening match-up. In the loss for Ligers, QB Alan Lebowitz hit Sanders Dargan for one touchdown. Next week, Too Good to Be Tru-Bisky battles against Carter V (1-0-0) to try and remain undefeated.   Next week, Ligers battle against The Flaming Hot Cheetos (2-0-0) to try and get their first win.

 

Victorious Secret (2-0) v. Back That Pass Up (0-2) – Tuesday, October 09, and 2018

Victorious Secret crushed Back That Pass Up with a final score of 60-13.  They are averaging 58.0 points per game. QB Alex Taderos threw seven TDs, passing to Tom Grilli for three of them. Back That Pass Up really struggled to get it going on the offensive end in this game, scoring less than their total from their first game. For Back That Pass Up, in the loss, QB Joshua Schwartz hit Ben Maude for two touchdowns. Next week, Victorious Secret seeks to stay perfect with a battle versus INDY Team #12 (1-1-0).   On Tuesday, Back That Pass Up will attempt to get a W against Non-Sober Gronk Spikes (1-1-0).

 

Non-Sober Gronk Spikes (1-1) v. INDY Team #12 (1-1) – Tuesday, October 09, and 2018

Non-Sober Gronk Spikes destroyed INDY Team #12. Non-Sober Gronk Spikes put 38 on the board and held INDY Team #12 to 13 points. These guys showed some toughness in this one, emerging victorious, even after scoring less than they did in their opening game. QB Bart passed four touchdowns, hitting Bobby Jordan for three of them and rushed for one more. INDY Team #12 really struggled to get it going in this one, scoring less than their total from their Week 1 game. In the loss, QB Daniel Allen hit Nick Thompson for one touchdown. Back That Pass Up (0-2-0) id next up on the schedule for Non-Sober Gronk Spikes, as they look to keep it going. Next up for INDY Team #12 is a showdown against Victorious Secret (2-0-0), as they try to bounce back.

 

Jefferies (1-1) v. Pepper Gang (1-1) – Tuesday, October 09, and 2018

Jefferies crushed Pepper Gang. The final score of 40-14 reflects the hard work Jefferies put into every minute of the game.  They showed up in this one, beating their opening game point total. QB Braden passed six scores, hitting J Coy for two of them and Beca Spiraga for one of them. Pepper Gang struggled to get it going on offense in this one, scoring less than their total from their opening contest. During the loss for Pepper Gang, QB Tim Hester hit Evan Caprile for two touchdowns. Next up for Jefferies is a Game against New Hires (0-2-0). A Tale of Two TD’s (0-2-0) is next up on the docket for Pepper Gang, as they look to get back on track.

 

Carter V (1-0) v. Not Braggin’ Just Flaggin’ (1-1) – Tuesday, October 09, and 2018

Carter V dominacted against Not Braggin’ Just Flaggin’ by the final count of 24-8.  QB Fahd Qabazard delivered three scores, passing to Ben Pressley for one of them. Not Braggin’ Just Flaggin’ struggled to get it going in this game, scoring less than their total from their first contest. During the loss, QB Andrew Peters hit Hannah Sopeth for one touchdown. Next week, Carter V face off against Too Good to Be Tru-Bisky (2-0-0) in an attempt to stay unblemished.   Next up for Not Braggin’ Just Flaggin’ is a showdown against Ball Me Maybe (1-1-0), as they look to get into the winner’s circle.
