Fall 2018 Tues Windy City Men’s Soccer – Week 8

INDY Team #4 (3-4-1) vs. Los Wuapos (5-2-1) – Tuesday, November 27, and 2018

It was an exciting semi-final match-up, in which the #3 seed, INDY Team #4, squeaked by with a 1-point win against the #1 seed, Los Wuapos. Pezhman Tarassoly, Jason Pereles, Cristian Pena, and Amay were among those who scored in this playoff win for INDY Team #4, putting one shot each past the Los Wuapos goalkeeper, Jose Sanchez. The losing team still had notable players including Joshua Collier, who put in two goals, and Gray Frenzel who put in one goal for Los Wuapos. The exciting win for INDY Team #4 advanced them to the championship game. Read the Championship recap below to see how they finished. Hopefully the loss doesn’t haunt Los Wuapos too much. LadsOnTour (3-3-2) vs. Kick Grass (3-5) – Tuesday, November 27, and 2018

It was an exciting semi-final match-up, in which the #2 seed, LadsOnTour, squeaked by with a 1-point win against the #4 seed, Kick Grass. The losing team still had notable players including Joel Perez and Colin, who scored one goal each for Kick Grass. Ilan Grinberg leads LadsOnTour this season in scoring and added 3 goals to their stats this week bringing Ilan Grinberg’s personal total to 10. Also providing some scoring was Leonard Smoliak, Aditya Kashyap, and John. On the bright side for Kick Grass, this loss means they can save their legs and recharge for next season.  The exciting win for LadsOnTour advanced them to the championship game. INDY Team #4 (3-4-1) vs. LadsOnTour (3-3-2) – Tuesday, November 27, and 2018

In this suspenseful Championship Game, the #3 team, INDY Team #4 played the #2 team, LadsOnTour, for the coveted Chicago Sport and Social Club long-sleeve champ shirts to forever capture their moment of glory. With a final score of 7-6 INDY Team #4 can call themselves the champions! The losing team still had notable players including John, who scored three goals, Ilan Grinberg, who scored two goals, and Aditya Kashyap, who scored one goal for LadsOnTour. In the win for INDY Team #4, Pezhman Tarassoly, Cristian Pena, and Conner each scored two goals, and Amay scored one goal, putting these shots past the LadsOnTour goalkeeper, Christopher Glotzbach. LadsOnTour came so close to the championship title. They’re not an easy team to beat and looking ahead to next season, they are definitely a team that will be at the top of the standings table.  Congratulations to INDY Team #4 on a great season and their championship win! We hope to see this squad return to defend their title.
