Penny Sacks (6-0-1) v. Los Charros (6-1-1) – Saturday, November 3, and 2018

It was a Championship Game written for the movies. Could the #2 seeded team, Penny Sacks outplay the #1 seeded team, Los Charros, who hadn’t lost a game yet this season? In this game, yes they could! With a final score of 26-13, Penny Sacks end the season undefeated. They really buckled down in this one, emerging victorious despite allowing more points than their season points against average of 8.7 points per game. QB Craig passed three scores, hitting Danny for two of them, and Lyle for the other.  For Los Charros, in the loss, QB Matt hit Jordan and Eric for one touchdown each. With an undefeated season and a blowout championship win, Penny Sacks may want to consider a more competitive league for next season. But whichever Chicago Sport and Social Club league they decide to play in, they’re going to be a tough match for any opponent. Congratulations on your victory! Being one of the top two teams, Los Charros was optimistic heading into the championship match, so this loss is a tough one. But they definitely have what it takes to win and we expect to see them doing well again next season.
