Fall 2018 Lincoln Park TURF Coed Rec Flag Football – Week 6

FourKites (3-3) v. BDO Blitzers (4-2) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

In this last week of regular season games, the #11 seed, BDO Blitzers, took on the #12 seed, FourKites. By the score of 49-28, FourKites got a lopsided W to get their sixth-straight win. FourKites really brought their A game in this one, beating their average of 32.80 points per game. QB Raphael Gunn delivered five scores, finding Ashley Triestram for three of them. FourKites’ win this week locked in their spot as the #12 seed going into playoffs. They’ll face the #21 seeded team, The Good Hands. It just wasn’t their season as BDO Blitzers finished as the 11th place seed. They’ll face the #22 seeded team, Taco in a bag (0-6-0).

 

ChicaGo Badgers (6-0) v. Chicago Hokies (0-6) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

ChicaGo Badgers were coming off their top offensive game of the season, scoring 48 points last week. Additionally, they were the higher ranked #3 seed playing the #19 seed, Chicago Hokies. They confidently took the win by the score of 33-20. This team, ChicaGo Badgers, really showed some grit in this game, earning the win, despite scoring less than their avg. ppg of 36.70. QB Cal Ehrke passed four TDs, passing to Dylan for two of them, and Zach Thuecks and Mitchell Hawkins for the other two. Chicago Hokies brought their best on the offensive end in this one even with this loss on their record, topping their average of 13.50 points per game for the season. For Chicago Hokies, QB Edwin Romero hit John Temple and Brad for one touchdown each. ChicaGo Badgers’ win this Wednesday solidified their spot as the #3 seed in the playoff bracket. They’ll face the winner of the #14 vs #19 seed game. It was a rough regular season for Chicago Hokies, who finished as the 19th place seed. They’ll face the #14 seeded team, Salty Sack (3-3-0).

 

The Flag Team Without Banners (4-2) v. Kiss Our End Zones (2-4) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

In this last week of regular season games, the #10 seed, The Flag Team Without Banners, took on the #17 seed, Kiss Our End Zones. By the score of 33-12, The Flag Team Without Banners got a huge W.  The Flag Team Without Banners really brought their A game in this game, exceeding their average of 29.00 ppg. QB John threw three touchdowns and Kara Tomaszewski threw one, passing to Anthony Chignoli, Andy, John, and Jake Stockman all for one touchdown each. During the loss, QB Casey Little hit Aj for one touchdown. The Flag Team Without Banners’ win this week locked them in as the #10 seed for playoffs next week. They’ll face the #23 seeded team, 360i. It just wasn’t their season as Kiss Our End Zones finished as the 17th place seed. They’ll face the #16 seeded team, Little Giants (3-3-0).

 

Flaggin’ Ball Z (6-0) v. Better Late Than Never (3-3) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

Heading into this last week of regular season games, Better Late Than Never were coming off their top offensive game of the season, scoring 40 points last week. Unfortunately, they couldn’t keep the momentum going this week. The final score of 20-6 reflects the hard work Flaggin’ Ball Z put into every minute of the game. Flaggin’ Ball Z showed some toughness in this game, emerging victorious, despite scoring less than their avg. points per game of 37.00. QB Joe Gill threw three TDs, hitting Connie Syhabandith for two of them and Michelle for the other one.  During the loss for Better Late Than Never, QB Ross Morgan hit Tony Carosielli for one touchdown. Flaggin’ Ball Z had a perfect regular season and locked in the easiest path to the championship for playoffs. Whoever wins from the #16 vs. #17 seed game will really need to step up their game to knock down Flaggin’ Ball Z in the first round of the bracket. It was a rough regular season for Better Late Than Never, who finished as the 13th place seed. They’ll face the #20 seeded team, Mud Dogs (0-6-0).

 

Super Heroes In Training (S.H.I.T) (4-2) v. Shotskis Whynotskis (4-2) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

Super Heroes In Training (S.H.I.T), the #4 seed, played Shotskis Whynotskis, the #9 seed, in this last week of regular season gamse.  With a final score of 39-29, Super Heroes In Training (S.H.I.T) earned this victory.  Super Heroes In Training (S.H.I.T) brought their A game, exceeding their average of 33.20 points per game. QB Kevin Linklater threw six scores, hitting both Donavan Clark and Anthony Walker for three scores each. During the loss, QB Brett Lukowicz hit Kelly Pekarek, Zach Jecklin, Brandon Griffith, and Cody for one touchdown each. Super Heroes In Training (S.H.I.T)’s win this week locked in their spot as the #4 seed for playoffs. They’ll face the winner of the #13 vs. #20 seed game. It just wasn’t their season as Shotskis Whynotskis finished as the 9th place seed. They’ll face the #24 seeded team, Premium Economy Middle Seat (0-6-0).

 

No Punt Intended (5-1) v. Taco in a bag (0-6) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

This week, the #5 seed, No Punt Intended, took on the #22 seed, Taco in a bag. No Punt Intended put 58 on the board and held Taco in a bag to 18 points. No Punt Intended brought their A game in this one, exceeding their average of 39.00 points per game. QB Justin Dreyfuss passed five touchdowns, finding Danny for two of them and ran for two more. Taco in a bag really played their A game on offense in this one even though they lost, exceeding their average of 12.00 points per game for the season. For Taco in a bag, in the loss, QB Vince hit both Oscar and Kevin O’Brien for one touchdown. No Punt Intended finished the regular season in 5th place, and they will play the winner of the #12 vs. #21 seed game. With no wins this season, it’s no surprise Taco in a bag finished as the 22nd place seed. They’ll face the #11 seeded team, BDO Blitzers (4-2-0).

 

Salty Sack (3-3) v. Bad News Bears (3-3) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

The #14 seed, Salty Sack, took on the #18 seed, Bad News Bears. Salty Sack put 26 on the board and held Bad News Bears to 14 points. This team, Salty Sack, showed some grit in this one, earning the win, despite scoring less than their avg. ppg of 32.50. In the win, Eric Berg threw touchdown passes to Bree, and then ran two in himself. It’s time for playoffs! Salty Sack is heating up with this week’s win, which lands them in 14th place for the at the end of the regular season. Can they keep the streak going when they play the #19 team, Chicago Hokies. In the loss, Anthony Papa threw two scores to Andrew Touhy and Sabrina Rogers. It was a rough regular season for Bad News Bears, who finished as the 18th place seed. They’ll face the #15 seeded team, Gucci Gang (3-3-0). The last time these teams met they tied, so next week’s matchup could be a close one.

 

Gucci Gang (3-3) v. The Good Hands (0-6) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

Gucci Gang, the #15 seed, played the #21 seed, The Good Hands this week.  Gucci Gang put 46 on the board and held The Good Hands to 12 points.  Gucci Gang really stepped up in this game, exceeding their average of 24.70 points per game. For Gucci Gang, QB Joe Claver threw six passes finding Landon Hoon, Grant Frahm, Lauren Wytiaz, and Amy Novotny for one score each. The Good Hands really brought their best on offense even though they lost, topping their average of 5.30 ppg this year. Gucci Gang’s win this Wednesday solidified their spot as the #15 seed going into playoffs. They’ll face the #18 seeded team, Bad News Bears. With no wins this season, it’s no surprise The Good Hands finished as the 21st place seed. They’ll face the #12 seeded team, FourKites (3-3-0).

 

The Recruits (5-1) v. 360i (0-6) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

Looks like 360i forfeited to The Recruits this week. The Recruits finished the regular season in 6th place, and they will play the winner of the #11 vs. #22 seed game. It was a rough regular season for 360i, who finished as the 23rd place seed. They’ll face the #10 seeded team, The Flag Team Without Banners (4-2-0).

 

CA (4-2) v. Premium Economy Middle Seat (0-6) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

This past Wednesday, the #8 seed, CA, took on the #24 seed, Premium Economy Middle Seat. CA brought their A game in this game, beating their average of 26.20 points per game. QB Jimmy delivered four scores Jackie delivered three, and Steve delivered one, finding Brooke Sauer, Christian, Jackie, and Janson for one each, and Cynthia and Jimmy for two scores each. CA finished the regular season in 8th place, and they will play the winner of the #9 vs. #24 seed game. It was a rough regular season for Premium Economy Middle Seat, who finished as the 24th place seed. They’ll face the #9 seeded team, Shotskis Whynotskis (4-2-0).

 

Legion of Boom (6-0) v. [in] My Feelings (4-2) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

No one expected this last week of regular season game to be such a close one. Legion of Boom, the #2 seed barely squeaked by in this 1-touchdown game to beat the #7 seed, [in] My Feelings by the final count of 20-14. This team, Legion of Boom, showed some grit in this one, winning, despite scoring less than their average points per game of 36.30. QB Mike Migut delivered two touchdowns, finding LaToya Jackson and Janice for one touchdown each and rushed in one on his own.  For [in] My Feelings, QB Ian threw one touchdown. Legion of Boom’s win this week solidified their spot as the #2 seed in the playoff bracket. They’ll face the winner of the #15 vs. #18 seed game. Despite their loss this week, [in] My Feelings finished the regular season in 7th place and will play the winner of the #10 vs. #23 seed game.

 

Little Giants (3-3) v. Mud Dogs (0-6) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

Little Giants, the #16 seed, matched up against Mud Dogs, the #20 seed, in this last week of regular season games.  With a final score of 26-13, Little Giants earned their sixth-straight win.  Little Giants really showed up, beating their average of 21.70 ppg. QB Mike Bradberry threw three touchdowns, hitting Jason for two of them and Abby Eddy for the other one. Mud Dogs really brought their best on in terms of scoring in this game despite the loss, topping their average of 4.30 points per game for the year. For Mud Dogs, QB Joseph Allen hit Sarah Sefcovic for two touchdowns. Little Giants’ win this Wednesday solidified their spot as the #16 seed going into playoffs. They’ll face the #17 seeded team, Kiss Our End Zones. With no wins this season, it’s no surprise Mud Dogs finished as the 20th place seed. They’ll face the #13 seeded team, Better Late Than Never (3-3-0).
