FourKites (3-3) v. BDO Blitzers (4-2) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018
In this last week of regular season games, the #11 seed, BDO Blitzers, took on the #12 seed, FourKites. By the score of 49-28, FourKites got a lopsided W to get their sixth-straight win. FourKites really brought their A game in this one, beating their average of 32.80 points per game. QB Raphael Gunn delivered five scores, finding Ashley Triestram for three of them. FourKites’ win this week locked in their spot as the #12 seed going into playoffs. They’ll face the #21 seeded team, The Good Hands. ChicaGo Badgers (6-0) v. Chicago Hokies (0-6) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018
ChicaGo Badgers were coming off their top offensive game of the season, scoring 48 points last week. Additionally, they were the higher ranked #3 seed playing the #19 seed, Chicago Hokies. They confidently took the win by the score of 33-20. This team, ChicaGo Badgers, really showed some grit in this game, earning the win, despite scoring less than their avg. ppg of 36.70. QB Cal Ehrke passed four TDs, passing to Dylan for two of them, and Zach Thuecks and Mitchell Hawkins for the other two. Chicago Hokies brought their best on the offensive end in this one even with this loss on their record, topping their average of 13.50 points per game for the season. For Chicago Hokies, QB Edwin Romero hit John Temple and Brad for one touchdown each. ChicaGo Badgers’ win this Wednesday solidified their spot as the #3 seed in the playoff bracket. The Flag Team Without Banners (4-2) v. Kiss Our End Zones (2-4) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018
In this last week of regular season games, the #10 seed, The Flag Team Without Banners, took on the #17 seed, Kiss Our End Zones. By the score of 33-12, The Flag Team Without Banners got a huge W. Heading into this last week of regular season games, Better Late Than Never were coming off their top offensive game of the season, scoring 40 points last week. Unfortunately, they couldn’t keep the momentum going this week. The final score of 20-6 reflects the hard work Flaggin’ Ball Z put into every minute of the game. Flaggin’ Ball Z showed some toughness in this game, emerging victorious, despite scoring less than their avg. points per game of 37.00. QB Joe Gill threw three TDs, hitting Connie Syhabandith for two of them and Michelle for the other one. During the loss for Better Late Than Never, QB Ross Morgan hit Tony Carosielli for one touchdown. Flaggin’ Ball Z had a perfect regular season and locked in the easiest path to the championship for playoffs. Whoever wins from the #16 vs. #17 seed game will really need to step up their game to knock down Flaggin’ Ball Z in the first round of the bracket. In the win, Eric Berg threw touchdown passes to Bree, and then ran two in himself. It’s time for playoffs! In the loss, Anthony Papa threw two scores to Andrew Touhy and Sabrina Rogers. It was a rough regular season for Bad News Bears, who finished as the 18th place seed. Legion of Boom, the #2 seed barely squeaked by in this 1-touchdown game to beat the #7 seed, [in] My Feelings by the final count of 20-14. This team, Legion of Boom, showed some grit in this one, winning, despite scoring less than their average points per game of 36.30. QB Mike Migut delivered two touchdowns, finding LaToya Jackson and Janice for one touchdown each and rushed in one on his own. For [in] My Feelings, QB Ian threw one touchdown. Legion of Boom’s win this week solidified their spot as the #2 seed in the playoff bracket. They’ll face the winner of the #15 vs. #18 seed game.
