Fall 2018 Lincoln Park GRASS Coed Rec Flag Football – Week 7

Hurricane Ditka (6-0) v. No Punt Intended (2-5) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

Just like earlier in the season, Hurricane Ditka won the rematch between these two Teams. Hurricane Ditka put 34 on the board and held No Punt Intended to 30 points. These guys fought for this game, winning despite allowing more points than their season points against average of 17.0 ppg. QB Mike Hennessey passed five scores, passing to Gina Castiglioni and Octavian Soare for two scores each, and Brandon Allen for one score. No Punt Intended really gave it their all on offense in this game even with this loss on their record, beating their average of 19.60 ppg for the season. In the loss for No Punt Intended, QB David Gumins hit Gregory Ziton for two touchdowns. Next week, Hurricane Ditka seeks to remain unbeaten with a pairing versus Kiss My Endzone (1-5-0). Back That Pass Up (4-2-0) is next up on the schedule for No Punt Intended, as they try to bounce back.

 

Mud Dogs (6-0) v. INDY Team #11 (1-5) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

With a final score of 27-12, Mud Dogs remain undefeated this season. Mud Dogs really battled hard for this one, earning the W, despite scoring less than their average points per game of 36.30. QB Liz Neary and Dave K threw one touchdown each, which was caught by Anthon Moore and Jessie DeBella. INDY Team #11 really were unable to put up much of a defense in this one, allowing more points than their average of 21.50 points against per game for the year. During the loss for INDY Team #11, QB Kevin Murphy hit Jesus Martin for one touchdown. Next Wednesday, Mud Dogs seeks to stay unblemished with a contest versus the winner of the #8 vs. #9 seed game. Next up for INDY Team #11 is a match-up versus Show Us Dem TD’s (5-2-0), as they begin play-offs.

 

Show Us Dem TD’s (5-2) v. Kiss My Endzone (1-5) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

Looks like Kiss My Endzone forfeited to Show Us Dem TD’s this week. Next up for Show Us Dem TD’s is a pairing against INDY Team #11 (1-5-0). Hurricane Ditka (6-0-0) are next up on the calendar for Kiss My Endzone.

 

Team Indy #19 (3-3) v. InnerWorkings (4-2) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

The underdog, Team Indy #19 defeated the favored InnerWorkings 26 to 25. Team Indy #19 brought it in this one, exceeding their average of 21.70 points per game. QB Pete passed four scores, finding Sean Hansen for three of them, and Erin Henning for the other one. For InnerWorkings, in the loss, QB John Shelby hit Matt Arends and Tyler Roche for one touchdown each and ran into the end zone for two. Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs (3-4-0) are next up on the calendar for Team Indy #19, as they look to keep it going. Boatyard Dogs (1-5-0) are next up on the schedule for InnerWorkings, as they look to advance after the first round of play-offs.

 

The Bad Guys (2-4) v. Show Us Dem TD’s (5-2) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

The underdog, The Bad Guys upset the favored Show Us Dem TD’s 20 to 19. The Bad Guys really brought their A game, topping their average of 16.50 points per game. QB Michael Garai threw one TD, which was caught by Jake Feinerman and ran for two with his legs.  For Show Us Dem TD’s, in the loss, QB Phillip Nardi hit Matt Corso for two touchdowns and Patrick Carbon for one touchdown. Next up for The Bad Guys is a contest against Beer Force One (3-4-0). INDY Team #11 (1-5-0) are next up on the docket for Show Us Dem TD’s, as they attempt to bounce back.

 

3rd and Schlong (6-0) v. Beer Force One (3-4) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018

3rd and Schlong and Beer Force One combined for an offensive explosion totaling 59 points. 3rd and Schlong put 33 on the board and held Beer Force One to 26 points. They really battled for this one, winning despite allowing more points than their season points against average of 15.8 points per game. QB Anthony threw four touchdowns, hitting Mady Temple, Rachael Lenderman, Cody, and Sean all for one touchdown each and rushed for one more. Even though they lost, Beer Force One really did everything they could on offense in this game, beating their average of 20.30 ppg for the season. During the loss, QB Joe Hartung hit Sara Zamora and Enrique Gonzalez for one touchdown each and also rushed for two more. 3rd and Schlong will attempt to remain undefeated next week with a Game against JLL (0-6-0). Next up for Beer Force One is a match-up versus The Bad Guys (2-4-0), as they look to get back on track.

 

Flaggy With a Chance of Footballs (3-4) v. JLL (0-6) – Wednesday, November 07, and 2018
