Ten More Beers (2-2-1) vs. INDY Team #5 (0-0) – Friday, October 05, and 2018

Ten More Beers took down INDY Team #5 with a final score of 4-0.  On Friday, INDY Team #5 face off against Shenanigans in an attempt to get their first win. Bryan Hancock of Ten More Beers is MVP and now leads the league with a whopping 8 goals! The club’s goalie Robert Rucker made sure the opposing club would not score. To lead the team’s offense, Medzit Redzepi, Erin Lent, Bryan Hancock, and Anna Paul each scored one goal. Next up for Ten More Beers is a Game against Rooney Tunes (0-4-1).

 

Shenanigans (3-0-2) vs. Life’s a Pitch (0-0) – Friday, October 05, and 2018

Shenanigans and Life’s a Pitch had a defensive battle, with a combined score of three goals. Shenanigans took home the 2-1 victory. Shenanigans fought hard for this battle, earning the win, despite scoring less than their average goals per game of 2.4.  Cami Thompson and Britt Withey each kicked one goal to provide some scoring.  Next game, Life’s a Pitch try to break their winless streak with a match-up against Team America (4-0-1).  Next week, Shenanigans battles against INDY Team #5 in an attempt to remain undefeated.

 

Torts Illustrated (3-2) vs. Rooney Tunes (0-4-1) – Friday, October 05, and 2018

The win for Torts Illustrated was earned without a drop of sweat since Rooney Tunes forfeited. This was Rooney Tunes’ second forfeit of the season, likely disqualifying them from partaking in playoffs. This win is the second in a row for Torts Illustrated, and it bumps them to 3rd place in the standings.  Next week, Rooney Tunes battle against Ten More Beers (2-2-1) in an attempt to get on the board with a win.  Next up for Torts Illustrated is a showdown against Green Smoke Football Club (1-4-0).

 

Team America (4-0-1) vs. Green Smoke Football Club (1-4) – Friday, October 05, and 2018

Team America controlled this game in shut out fashion against Green Smoke Football Club with a final score of 3-0. Nick Morel leads Team America this season in scoring and added to their stats this week with 2 goals bringing Nick Morel’s personal total to 4. Their goalkeeper Mike Dash stone-walled the opponents, earning a shutout for their record. To help gain the club the W, Nick Morel scored two goals. Team America will try to remain unbeaten next Friday with a showdown against Life’s A Pitch. Green Smoke Football Club didn’t have their best stuff on offense in this one, and suffered a shutout.  Torts Illustrated (3-2-0) is next up on the calendar for Green Smoke Football Club, as they try to bounce back.
