Cheeky Monkey (2-0-1) are next up on the docket for Oprah’s Book Club, as they look to rebound. Chicago Handshakes seems to have found their groove and has won two games in a row. The team’s goalie Dj deserves much of the credit after earning a clean sheet. To spearhead the club’s offense, Shahab Rostami netted one goal. Next Thursday, Chicago Handshakes face off against Kelly Blue Book’s 2009 Minivan of the Year (2-1-0) in an attempt to stay unblemished.

INDY Team #8 (2-1) vs. Loose Balls (0-2) – Thursday, February 21, 2019
INDY Team #8 beat Loose Balls 6-1 in this game. This heartbreaking loss comes when Loose Balls scored their personal best of the season. Sarah Lewis scored the only goal for Loose Balls to prevent the shut out. Loose Balls attempts to get off the schneid on Thursday with a match-up against Thresholds Thunder (2-1-0). First shout-out goes to Eric Bryant of INDY Team #8 who now is tied for the most goals in the league with 4 goals. Eric Bryant scored two goals while Samantha Borkan, Brooke Schueller, Janson Straub and Kyle Bryant all added a goal of their own. Gogo (2-0-0) are next up on the schedule for INDY Team #8, as they look to keep it going.

Gogo (2-0) vs. S.T.V.G FC (0-3) – Thursday, February 21, 2019
Gogo beat S.T.V.G FC 5-3 in this game. This heartbreaking loss comes when S.T.V.G FC scored their personal best of the season. S.T.V.G team still had notable players including Andy Harter, Sophia Bischof and Corey Lucia who all kicked one goal for S.T.V.G FC. On Thursday, S.T.V.G FC takes on INDY Team #7 (0-3-0) in an attempt to get off the schneid. Gogo really brought their A game, exceeding their opening game point total. Sergio and Vivon each kicked two goals with help from Rafael’s one goal to earn the club the W. Next week, Gogo seeks to stay undefeated with a pairing versus INDY Team #8 (2-1-0).

Thresholds Thunder (2-1) vs. INDY Team #7 (0-3) – Thursday, February 21, 2019
In this match, Thresholds Thunder beat INDY Team #7 7-1. INDY Team #7 really struggled to stop anything on defense in this one, allowing more goals than their average of 5.7 GAPG this year. Peralti scored the only goal for INDY Team #7 to prevent the shut out. Next week, INDY Team #7 faces off against S.T.V.G FC (0-3-0) in an attempt to get on the board with a win. First shout-out goes to Efren of Thresholds Thunder who now is tied for the lead for the scoring title with 4 goals. Ben Hushek scored a hat trick with three goals to lead the club’s attack and both Chris and Jorge tallied two goals of their own. Next up for Thresholds Thunder is a date versus Loose Balls (0-2-0).
