Lets Get Messi (4-0-1) vs. Loose Balls (1-3-1) – Monday, March 2, 2020

Lets Get Messi were incredible on both sides of the pitch against Loose Balls with a final score of 5-0. Loose Balls were unable to get rolling on the offensive end in this game, and failed to make it onto the scoreboard. Mike scored a hat trick to lead the team’s attack.  Next up for Loose Balls is a battle against Avocado Discoballs (4-1-0), as they attempt to bounce back.  Lets Get Messi will look to stay undefeated next week with a showdown versus LPSE (2-2-1).

Team Awesome (3-0-2) vs. Liquorpool (0-4-1) – Monday, March 2, 2020

Team Awesome and Liquorpool competed in a low scoring affair, combining for three goals. Team Awesome took home the 2-1 victory. Team Awesome really buckled down in this contest, emerging victorious, despite scoring less than their avg. GPG of 2.8.  Nathaniel Mcleroy fired one goal to help earn the club the W. Liquorpool struggled to get it going in this game, scoring fewer than their average of 2.2 goals per game this season. Mario scored the only goal for Liquorpool to prevent the shutout. Team Awesome will attempt to remain undefeated on Monday with a contest against Green Machine (0-5-0).   Liquorpool seeks to get their first win next week against Elite Cleats (3-2-0).

Avocado Discoballs (4-1) vs. LPSE (2-2-1) – Monday, March 2, 2020

Avocado Discoballs were amazing in this shut out against LPSE with a final score of 5-0. LPSE didn’t have their best stuff on the offensive end in this game, and couldn’t seem to find the back of the net. This win is the second in a row for Avocado Discoballs, and it bumps them to 2nd place in the standings. Brooks scored two goals. Shout-out to keeper, Chris Mueller, for the shutout! Next up for LPSE is a match-up versus Lets Get Messi (4-0-1), as they look to get back into the winner’s circle.  Loose Balls (1-3-1) are next up on the schedule for Avocado Discoballs, as they look to keep it going.

Elite Cleats (3-2) vs. Green Machine (0-5) – Monday, March 2, 2020

Elite Cleats absolutely dominated this game in shut out fashion against Green Machine with a final score of 5-0. Green Machine were unable to get rolling on the offensive end in this one, and came short of making it onto the scoreboard. This win is the second in a row for Elite Cleats, and it bumps them to 4th place in the standings.
