Earning their first win of the season, Elite Cleats beat Loose Balls 6-1. Elite Cleats really brought their A game, beating their average of 3.0 goals per game. Michael Deremo tallied a hat trick to help gain the team the win. Green Machine (0-3-0) are next up on the schedule for Elite Cleats, as they look to keep it going. This is Loose Balls’s first loss of the season. Megan Saafir scored the only goal for Loose Balls to save them from a shutout. Next up for Loose Balls is a battle against Lets Get Messi (2-0-1), as they look to get back into the winner’s circle.

LPSE (2-0-1) vs. Team Awesome (1-0-2) – Monday, February 24, 2020

LPSE and Team Awesome were very well-matched in this one and finished tied up at 1-1. This is Team Awesome’s second tie this season and they’re currently sitting in third place in the standings. Nathaniel Mcleroy was the star player for Team Awesome this week. They scored the only goal for them. For Team Awesome they will go toe to toe with Liquorpool (0-2-1). LPSE used their 1 goals scored in this game to boost their total goals this season to 12. Naod scored the team’s only goal, saving their team from defeat. Exiting week 3, LPSE looks ahead to Avocado Discoballs (2-1-0) who are next on the schedule.

Lets Get Messi (2-0-1) vs. Green Machine (0-3) – Monday, February 24, 2020

Lets Get Messi beat Green Machine 6-1 in this game. Lets Get Messi seems to have found their groove and has won two games in a row. Mike tallied a hat trick to help earn the crew the W. Next week, Lets Get Messi will attempt to remain perfect with a date against Loose Balls (1-1-1). Green Machine really struggled to stop anything on D in this one, surrendering more goals than their average of 5.3 goals against per game for the season. Jake Greenwell scored the only goal for Green Machine to get their team on the board. Next Monday, Green Machine faces off against Elite Cleats (1-2-0) in an attempt to get off the schneid.

Avocado Discoballs (2-1) vs. Liquorpool (0-2-1) – Monday, February 24, 2020

Avocado Discoballs beat Liquorpool 5-2 in this game. Liquorpool really were unable to get rolling on the offensive end in this game, scoring less than their average of 2.7 goals per game for the season. The losing team still had notable players including Billy Cheng, who accounted for one goal for Liquorpool. Liquorpool tries to put a 1 in the win column next Monday with a match-up versus Team Awesome (1-0-2). Avocado Discoballs really brought it in this game, besting their average of 2.7 goals per game.
