Avocado Discoballs played well here and blanked Elite Cleats with a final score of 2-0. It’s only week one, and Elite Cleats has tons of weeks to go back to the drawing board on offense. Avocado Discoballs’ goalkeeper Chris Mueller deserves much of the credit after earning a clean sheet. Eugene Ballantine and Eugene Ballantine each fired one goal to help earn the crew the win. As for Elite Cleats they will have a matchup with Lets Get Messi (0-0-1) as they look to get to the win column. For Avocado Discoballs, next up is a showdown with Team Awesome (0-0-1), as they look for another win early on this season.

LPSE (1-0) vs. Green Machine (0-1) – Monday, February 10, 2020

LPSE absolutely dominated this game in shut out fashion against Green Machine with a final score of 5-0. It’s only week one, and Green Machine has tons of games to pick it up on offense. It’s only the first week, but LPSE are the early leaders in scoring. LPSE’s goalie Pete deserves a shout out for helping blank the Green Machine’s offense. Tigist Dadi both scored two goals to steer the group’s attack. As for Green Machine next up is a showdown with Loose Balls (0-0-1) as they try to come back from this one. Exiting week 1, LPSE will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. Liquorpool (0-0-1) are next on the schedule for them.

Liquorpool (0-0-1) vs. Loose Balls (0-0-1) – Monday, February 10, 2020

Liquorpool and Loose Balls were very well-matched in this Game and concluded all tied at 5-5. Liquorpool used their 5 goals scored in this game to boost their total goals this season to 5. Mario fired three goals for Liquorpool to steer the club’s offense. Exiting week 1, Liquorpool will look ahead to LPSE (1-0-0) who are next on the schedule. Lets Get Messi and Team Awesome were extremely evenly matched in this Game and finished all tied at 2-2. This is Team Awesome’s first tie this season and it was their best offensive performance yet. Shane Otten was the star player for Team Awesome this week. They scored all two goals for them. For Team Awesome next they take on Avocado Discoballs (1-0-0). This week’s result puts Lets Get Messi in third place in the standings. Willie accounted for one goal to provide some scoring.
