Winter 2019 Wednesday Men’s Flag Football – Week 4

The Star-Nosed Moles (3-1) v. INDY Team #7 (2-2) – Wednesday, February 27, and 2019

The Star-Nosed Moles blew out INDY Team #7. The Star-Nosed Moles put 64 on the board and held INDY Team #7 to 14 points.  The Star-Nosed Moles are the highest-scoring team in the league for the season, averaging 55.0 points per game. QB John Doran delivered four touchdowns and rushed for three while Patrick Pierret threw one of his own.  Daniel Luque, Grady Schmidt, Ryan Barry, Jack Libert, and Patrick Pierret each caught one touchdown in the win. INDY Team #7 didn’t have their best stuff on the offensive end in this game, scoring less than their average of 31.50 points per game for the season. For INDY Team #7, in the loss, QB Tyler Brown and Jake W each threw for one score.  Israel Hernandez and Rudolph Sanchez each caught one touchdown. Next up for The Star-Nosed Moles is a Game against League of Shadows (0-4-0).   Checkdowners (3-1-0) are next up on the schedule for INDY Team #7, as they try to bounce back.

 

Checkdowners (4-0) v. League of Shadows (0-4) – Wednesday, February 27, and 2019

Checkdowners dominated League of Shadows by the score of 40-6.  They really stepped up on D in this one, beating their season points against average of 8.0 ppg. QB Bobby Centlivre delivered five scores, passing to Michael Jabs for two while Kurt Rogers, Isaac Hamlin, and Sean Oliver each caught one. League of Shadows really didn’t have their best showing in this game, allowing more points than their average of 31.50 points against per game this season. For League of Shadows, in the loss, QB Remi Gangarossa hit Joseph Proszowski for one touchdown. Next up for Checkdowners is a throwdown versus INDY Team #7 (2-2-0).   Next Wednesday, League of Shadows takes on The Star-Nosed Moles (3-1-0) in an attempt to put a 1 in the win column.

 

Dimons & Ducks (3-1) v. The Iron Condors (3-1) – Wednesday, February 27, and 2019

Dimons & Ducks dominated The Iron Condors. Dimons & Ducks put 50 on the board and held The Iron Condors to 12 points.  Dimons & Ducks really brought it in this game, exceeding their average of 35.00 ppg. QB Ian Good passed seven TDs, passing to Aj Houk for three of them, Tyler Leising for two, and Matt Burel and Josh Watkins each for one. The Iron Condors really struggled to get it going in this one, scoring less than their average of 26.50 points per game for the year.  For The Iron Condors, QB Jimmy Savage hit Dave Lebeau and Teddy each for one touchdown.  Next up for Dimons & Ducks is a contest against 4th n Schlong (1-3-0).   Next up for The Iron Condors is a showdown against Son of a Butcher (1-3-0), as they try to bounce back.

 

4th n Schlong (1-3) v. Son of a Butcher (1-3) – Wednesday, February 27, and 2019

By the score of 36-16, 4th n Schlong got a dominant win against Son of a Butcher.  4th n Schlong really brought it in this game, beating their average of 22.50 ppg. QB Chase Noonan passed three TDs and ran in two on his own.   Wide Receiver Brian Halveland caught two touchdowns while David Barnes added one of his own.  Even with a loss Son of a Butcher gave everything they had, beating their average of 14.50 ppg for the season.  During the loss, QB Brandon hit Rashad  and Domitrius each for one touchdown.  Next up for 4th n Schlong is a pairing versus Dimons & Ducks (3-1-0).   Next up for Son of a Butcher is a battle against The Iron Condors (3-1-0), as they attempt to rebound.
