Winter 2019 Wednesday Lake Street Soccer – Week 6

INDY Team #3 (2-2-1) vs. IGFC (1-3-1) – Wednesday, March 13, 2019

Earlier in the season, these teams tied, but INDY Team #3 grabbed a 12-2 win against IGFC in this rematch.  Despite the loss, IGFC has been doing great on offense so far, with a total of 31 goals.  They still had notable players including Hector and Drew, who each kicked one goal for IGFC.  INDY Team #3 are having a phenomenal offensive season . They’re averaging 8 goals per game.  Patrick Dwyer on fire and scored 6 goals to lead the team’s attack. Tyler also contributed a hattrick to the team’s final score, Edgar added two goals as well.   Akuna Capital (1-4-0) is next up on the calendar for IGFC, as they try to bounce back.  Next up for INDY Team #3 is a showdown against Finn’s Team (5-0-0).

Finn’s Team (5-0) vs. Akuna Capital (1-4) – Wednesday, March 13, 2019

Earlier in the season, these teams tied, but Finn’s Team grabbed a 7-5 win against Akuna Capital in this rematch.  In spite of the loss, Akuna Capital has been doing great on offense, with a total of 22 goals. They still had notable players including Ross Jacob, who netted two goals while Eric Evans, Merlin Ge, and Dani Ben- Reuven each added one for Akuna Capital.  Finn’s Team are having a fantastic offensive season. They’re averaging 10 goals per game.  Ankush Rakhit and Sameer Dhavalikar each scored two goals to steer the team’s offense while Finnian and Charles each added one.  IGFC (1-3-1) is next up on the docket for Akuna Capital, as they try to bounce back.  On Wednesday, Finn’s Team will try to stay undefeated with a match-up versus INDY Team #3 (2-2-1).
