Winter 2019 Wednesday Lake Street Men’s Soccer – Week 5

Finn’s Team (4-0) vs. IGFC (1-2-1) – Wednesday, March 06, 2019

Just like earlier in the season, Finn’s Team won the rematch against IGFC. This game finished with a final score of 11-7.  Finn’s Team are playing a fantastic offensive season. They’re averaging 11 goals per game. Sameer Dhavalikar and Seton Trostle were unstoppable and scored 4 goals each to steer the group’s offense. Charles also contributed two goals while Finnian Bunta added one to the team’s final score.  Despite the loss, IGFC has been doing great on offense, with a total of 29 goals. They still had notable players including Ross, who kicked four goals, Rory with two, and Alex with one for IGFC.  Next week, Finn’s Team battle against Akuna Capital (1-3-0) in an attempt to remain unbeaten.   INDY Team #3 (1-2-1) is next up on the docket for IGFC, as they attempt to bounce back.

Akuna Capital (1-3) vs. INDY Team #3 (1-2-1) – Wednesday, March 06, 2019

They feared they might go through the whole season without a win, but Akuna Capital defeated INDY Team #3 5-3 in this week 5 match-up.  In spite of the loss, INDY Team #3 has been doing great on offense this season, with a total of 29 goals. They team still had notable players including Ilham Kabir, Patrick Dwyer, and Daniele Rosso who each scored one goal for INDY Team #3.  Next up for INDY Team #3 is a match-up versus IGFC (1-2-1), as they look to get back on track.  Akuna Capital are having an incredible offensive season. They’re averaging 4 goals per game.  Nathan Ouyang and Dan Ben-Reuven each kicked two goals while Jeff Huang kicked one to help earn the squad the victory.  Next up for Akuna Capital is a date against Finn’s Team (4-0-0).
