Look Ma No Hands FC (1-3) vs. Daddy FC (1-3) – Tuesday, February 26, 2019

Look Ma No Hands FC earned a big win Tuesday by defeated Daddy FC 3-2. Despite losing, Daddy FC genuinely gave it their all on the defensive end in this game, giving up less than their average of 3.8 goals allowed per game for the season.  John Kotsiantos was the star player for Daddy FC this week. He scored all two goals for Daddy FC. Next up for Daddy FC is a battle versus Clark Construction (1-3-0), as they attempt to rebound. Look Ma No Hands FC really stepped up, beating their average of 1.8 goals per game.  David Carro, Jerry Ponce, Edward Ortiz each scored one goal to guide the crew’s attack.  Kick in a Box (1-3-0) are next up on the docket for Look Ma No Hands FC, as they look to keep it going.

 

Kick in a Box (1-3) vs. INDY Team #8 (2-2) – Tuesday, February 26, 2019

Kick in a Box celebrated a team win Tuesday, defeating INDY Team #8 1-0.  The club’s goalkeeper James  made sure INDY Team #8 would not score.  Sean Dempsey kicked the one goal which happen to be the game winner. INDY Team #8 struggled to get it going in this one and suffered a shutout. Look Ma No Hands FC (1-3-0) are next up on the docket for Kick in a Box, as they look to keep it going.   Next up for INDY Team #8 is a showdown against ESPN The Ocho (4-0-0), as they look to get back on track.

 

Blue Guys (4-0) vs. Chicago Veterans (0-4) – Tuesday, February 26, 2019

In this match, Blue Guys beat Chicago Veterans 7-1. Chicago Veterans really didn’t have their best stuff in terms of scoring in this one, scoring less than their average of 1.8 GPG for the season.  Next week, Chicago Veterans will attempt to get off the schneid with a match-up against Beercelona (1-3-0). Blue Guys are having a fantastic offensive season. They’re averaging 5 goals per game. Cory Zielke, Charles Ishola, and Rob each netted two goals while Patrick Weeks added one to help earn the team the W. Next week, Blue Guys seeks to remain perfect with a pairing against Headers & Shoulders 2 (2-1-1).

 

Beercelona (1-3) vs. Velvet Taquitos (3-1) – Tuesday, February 26, 2019

Beercelona defeated Velvet Taquitos 3-1 in a hard fought match. This is Velvet Taquitos’s first loss of the season. Nick Stuedemann scored the only goal for Velvet Taquitos to get their team on the board.  Next up for Velvet Taquitos is a battle against LPSE (3-0-1), as they attempt to rebound. This was a big win for Beercelona, Connor Welby scored a hat trick to steer the team’s attack. Chicago Veterans (0-4-0) are next up on the docket for Beercelona, as they look to keep it going.

 

ESPN The Ocho (4-0) vs. Clark Construction (1-3) – Tuesday, February 26, 2019

ESPN The Ocho shut out Clark Construction with a final score of just 1-0. Clark Construction struggled to get it going in this game and couldn’t seem to find the back of the net.  Daddy FC (1-3-0) is next up on the calendar for Clark Construction, as they try to bounce back.  ESPN The Ocho really fought for this matchup, prevailing, despite scoring less than their average goals per game of 3.5.  The team’s goalkeeper Brad Sherrill stone-walled Clark Construction, earning a shutout for their record. To help earn the team the W, Matt Allain made one goal. ESPN The Ocho will look to remain unblemished next Tuesday with a date versus INDY Team #8 (2-2-0).

 

Headers & Shoulders 2 (2-1-1) vs. LPSE (3-0-1) – Tuesday, February 26, 2019

Headers & Shoulders 2 and LPSE were really well-matched in this match-up and concluded all tied at 1-1. This is LPSE’s first tie this season and they’re currently sitting in third place in the standings.  Embibel Gebre was the star player for LPSE this week scoring the only goal for them. Headers & Shoulders 2 used their one goal scored in this game to boost their total goals this season to 6.  For Headers & Shoulders 2, Nick Watson kicked one goal to spearhead the club’s offense.  For LPSE next up is Velvet Taquitos (3-1-0).  Exiting week 4, Headers & Shoulders 2 will look ahead to the undefeated Blue Guys (4-0-0) who are next on the schedule.
