LPSE (2-0) vs. Clark Construction (1-1) – Tuesday, February 12, 2019

In this match, LPSE beat Clark Construction 4-1. Clark Construction didn’t have their best stuff on offense in this game, netting fewer than their total from their first match-up. Victor Moskal scored the only goal for Clark Construction to get their team on the board. LPSE is heating up, winning both of their games so far this season. Naode Gelan kicked two goals, and Sharief El-Gabri and Antonio DeSario kicked one goal each to help gain the club the W. As for Clark Construction they will have a throwdown with Blue Guys (2-0-0) as they strive to bounce back. Exiting week 2, LPSE will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. ESPN The Ocho (2-0) vs. Beercelona (0-2) – Tuesday, February 12, 2019

ESPN The Ocho played well here and blanked Beercelona with a final score of 2-0. ESPN The Ocho is heating up, winning both of their games so far this season. ESPN The Ocho’s goalkeeper Brad Sherrill stone-walled Beercelona. Matt Allain and Emily Saliterman each kicked one goal to help earn the club the victory. Beercelona really didn’t have their best game on defense in this game, surrendering more goals than their first match-up. In this match, INDY Team #8 beat Look Ma No Hands FC 3-1. Even though they lost, they gave it their all on the defensive end in this game, allowing less goals than they allowed in their opening match-up. Roberto Jasso scored the only goal for Look Ma No Hands FC to save his team from embarrassment. As for Look Ma No Hands FC next on the schedule is LPSE (2-0-0) as they look to come back from this one. INDY Team #8 really stepped up in this game, beating their first game point total. Amanda Keplinger, Eugene Ballantine, and Kevin Gaffney fired one goal each to guide the squad’s offense. Exiting week 2, INDY Team #8 will look ahead to keep their early season momentum. Daddy FC (1-1) vs. Chicago Veterans (0-2) – Tuesday, February 12, 2019

Daddy FC and Chicago Veterans had a close one up to the last minute with a final score of 3-2. Daddy FC really stepped up in this one, topping their opening game point total. John Kotsiantos scored two goals and Jill Clark scored one goal to lead the crew’s offense. INDY Team #8 (1-1-0) is next on the docket for Daddy FC, as they look for another win early on this season. Chicago Veterans didn’t have their best stuff on the offensive end in this game, netting less than their total from their opening match-up. The losing team still had notable players including Jonathan Juatez and Samantha Fergus, who tallied one goal each for Chicago Veterans.  As for Chicago Veterans next up is a pairing against ESPN The Ocho (2-0-0) as they look to get to the win column.

 

Velvet Taquitos (2-0) vs. Headers & Shoulders 2 (1-1) – Tuesday, February 12, 2019

Velvet Taquitos played amazing in this shut out against Headers & Shoulders 2 with a final score of 5-0. Headers & Shoulders 2 really struggled to get it going in this game, netting less than their total from their first match-up. Velvet Taquitos are heating up, winning both of their games so far this season. Their goalie Gursharan Bains made sure Headers & Shoulders 2 would not score. To guide the team’s attack, Nick Stuedemann, Tiberiu Stan, Don Perry, and Beck Hughes all contributed to the final score with 2, 1, 1, and 1 goals respectively.  For Headers & Shoulders 2 next on the docket is Beercelona (0-2-0) as they strive to rebound. Velvet Taquitos will try to stay atop the Standings with another W in week 3. This week Velvet Taquitos will line-up against Kick in a Box (0-2-0).

 

Blue Guys (2-0) vs. Kick in a Box (0-2) – Tuesday, February 12, 2019

Blue Guys absolutely dominated this game in shut out fashion against Kick in a Box with a final score of 6-0. Blue Guys are heating up, winning both of their games so far this season. Blue Guys’ goalie Mike Taylor stone-walled Kick in a Box. Brian Yeung and Meagan Reitz both scored two goals and earned the most tallies on the score sheet. Also providing some scoring in this win were Mike King and Jim Torres with one goal each. For Blue Guys, each week is a crucial opportunity to gain ground in the standings at the beginning of the year. Clark Construction (1-1-0) is next on the schedule for Blue Guys. Kick in a Box really didn’t have their best game on D in this one, giving up more goals than their first game.
