Winter 2019 Thursday Windy City Coed Soccer – Week 7

INDY Team #1 (7-0) vs. Kicking and Screaming Doctors (0-7) – Thursday, March 07, 2019

Earning the same result as they did earlier this season, INDY Team #1 won the rematch between these two Teams. This game finished with a final score of 11-2.  INDY Team #1 are having an incredible offensive season.  They’re averaging 11 goals per game.  William Mcfarland on fire and contributed 5 goals to lead the group’s attack while Kelly Hogan and Meridith Darcy each added two, and with one goal each Alex Copp and Adam Roberts helped get the win.  INDY Team #1 finished the regular season in 1st place, and they will play the winner of the 8th vs 9th place play-in game.  Kicking and Screaming Doctors really didn’t have their best stuff in terms of scoring in this one, scoring less than their average of 2.6 GPG for the season. They still had notable players including Lily C and Nick O’Block, who each scored one goal for Kicking and Screaming Doctors. The loss dropped Kicking and Screaming Doctors down to the #4 seed.

MonEY Moves (3-4) vs. Uber Freight (4-3) – Thursday, March 07, 2019

MonEY Moves won the rematch between these two squads. This game finished with a final score of 8-6. MonEY Moves seems to have found their groove and has won two games in a row.  Nikki Levy found his sweet spot and tallied 4 goals to guide the team’s offense. Dennis Syvongsa also contributed to the team’s final score with two goals while Matt Gertsmeier and Anthony each added one.  MonEY Moves was so in tune with scoring they even scored a goal in their own net as well.  MonEY Moves finished the regular season in 3rd place, and they will play the winner of the 6th vs 11th place play-in game. Uber Freight still had notable players including Justin who scored a hat trick for Uber Freight while Michael S and Garrett each added one goal.  Despite the loss this week, Uber Freight locked in their spot at the #2 seed.
