In this Semi-Final game, the #1 seed, Thresholds Thunder, took on the #3 seed, INDY Team #8. With a final score of 4-0 Thresholds Thunder got a dominating win! Despite the loss, INDY Team #8 has been doing great on offense this season, with a total of 23 goals. INDY Team #8 had a good run this season but they will not be advancing to the next round of playoffs. Kelly Blue Book’s 2009 Minivan of the Year (5-2-1) vs. Gogo (4-4) – Thursday, March 28, 2019
No one expected this Semi-Final game to be such a close one. Kelly Blue Book’s 2009 Minivan of the Year, the #2 seed just squeaked by in this 1-point game to beat the #6 seed, Gogo with a final score of 3-2. Gogo really didn’t have their best stuff in terms of scoring in this one, scoring fewer than their average of 2.5 goals per game this year. Caroline was the star player for Gogo this week scoring all two goals for their team. The exciting win for Kelly Blue Book’s 2009 Minivan of the Year advanced them to the championship game. Sometimes double headers help you get in a groove, other times they lead to tired legs, but at least the loss didn’t ding their standings too bad as they still sit at the top of the table in 2nd place.
